Meal Planning And Staying Organized With Kahootie Co. {Review}

Saturday, July 19, 2014

I received products from Kahootie Co. in order to facilitate an honest review. All opinions are my own.

If you've been reading the blog for a while, you know that I am an organizing and meal planning fool. I know for a fact that our home would not run as smoothly if I didn't take the time to make a meal plan. It's a pain sometimes when I'm busy, but it always pays off: I know what I'm supposed to be cooking, and when, and I know that I have all the ingredients I need, which cuts out a good deal of driving back and forth to the grocery store. If you need help with the How To of meal planning, see my post here.

Best of all? When I hear bored cries of "What's for dinner?" I get to stare at the person asking until they give up and look at the menu board. It's fun, you should try it.

I'm always looking for new ways to stay organized, and I found some great products at Kahootie Co.. They carry planners and logs of all kinds, lists, and chore charts, all in stylish designs that anyone would be proud to leave out on their desk.

I was sent their spiral bound Meal Planner and the Double To Do List to review.

About the Meal Planner:
The Meal Planner will save you time and money planning out your meals and shopping list in advance. No more wondering what is for dinner at 6pm with an empty refrigerator. Plan out your weekly meals, write down new recipes, and make sure you're getting the lowest price with our "price tracker" page.
  • Spiral Bound 5.5 x 8.5 in size
  • Over 1 year of weekly meals (60 weeks)
  • Weekly Grocery List
  • Space for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Snacks
  • Recipe Pages
  • Price Tracker Pages

It's just the right size for a meal planner and can be tucked away with your cookbooks when you're done. It comes with clear, plastic sheets over the front and back covers, and can be wiped clean if needed. The inside is beautifully laid out and starts with Price Tracker pages, then 60 weeks of Meal Planning pages, followed by Recipe Card pages; All spiral bound so it can be opened and laid flat.

The Meal Planning pages are thorough and contain spaces to plan breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks for the week, with a handy shopping list that you can fill out as you go. You can pop it in your purse when you go to the store and you'll never miss a thing!

About the Double To Do List:

Designed with the ultimate organizer in mind, this bold and stylish notepad helps keep multiple to do lists organized and in one place. Feel good and keep motivated as you continue to cross off your to do items. 8.5 x 11 in size.

  • Two customizable to do lists
  • Boxes to check off when each item is completed
  • 50 page notepad with a hard cardboard backing

The To Do List is large in size; It's 8.5x11, the same size as standard American printer paper, so there is a ton of room to add tasks as you go, then check them off when you finish. It's got a hard backing that comes in handy when you're not at a desk; You can take it around the house to remind you of all the things that need to be done. Anyone else do this? With me, if it's out of sight, it's out of mind.

What I love the most is its double columns. I can have a home list and a blog list on the same pad! I usually keep them separate and something always suffers; I love being able to see all of my to-dos at the same time.

This could be amazing for you if you're a work at home mom or dad, have a fitness regime to stick to, want to have a list for Mom's chores and Dad's chores, or if you want to list your projects and meetings at work on the same, easy-to-see, pad.

I am loving their products, and at $16.95 each, they're a steal. Visit Kahootie Co. and let me know what you're favorite is!
