If you're watching your calories, this cocktail is for you! You can sugar the rim or not for a sugar-free hard beverage and you can even use your favorite granulated sugar substitute. It's all up to you!
It makes for a super-refreshing cocktail on a hot day because it's a sparkling water. It's flavored but has no sugar, artificial colors, or artificial flavors, so it's not sickly sweet or thick and sticky. You can really just add in fruit for some natural sweetness and it's perfect.
Let's talk about flavor combos. The variety pack comes with Lemon Lime, Passion Fruit, and the new Strawberry Kiwi flavor that you can only get in the variety pack.
Serve them up with cut citrus, berries, and even melon. There are so many delish flavor combos to try.
This super-citrus cocktail just became my favorite drink! It's orange, lemon, and grapefruit with the lemon-lime Henry's Hard Sparkling Water and a lime sugared rim. Mmmmmm.
Let's make some cocktails that are perfect for a weekend afternoon with the ladies!
This takes a little prep, but the wows will last all afternoon. Get all of the ingredients and tools out and everyone can mix up their own cocktails!
You'll need:
- a tray to serve
- 2 round, shallow dishes for rimming the glasses with sugar (optional)
- a muddler or something to help smash the fruit in the bottom of the glasses
- a bucket and scoop for ice
- a glass for each guest
- napkins
- a plate of fruits cut into wedges
- Henry's Hard Sparkling Water in your favorite flavors
Let's get started!
Fruit Infused Sparkling Cocktails
Ingredients:
- sugar for rimming
- 4 limes (2 cut and 2 juiced)
- 2 lemons
- 1 orange
- 1 grapefruit
- strawberries
- blackberries
1. Pour enough sugar into one of the shallow dishes to go at least 1/8" up the rim of the glass. Juice 2 of the limes and pour the juice into the other dish.
2. To easily wedge your fruits, use a serrated knife and cut off the top and bottom of the fruit (where the stem was), then cut it into very thick slices. Cut each slice into fours and you're done! Make sure to peel the kiwi before slicing in the same way. Cut the tops off of the strawberries and cut them into halves or fourths, depending on how large they are. They should be easy to drop into a glass and smash with the muddler.
3. Once all of your fruits are cut (smaller berries don't need it) arrange them on a plate and your prep work is done!
Just lay out your supplies and your guests can help themselves.
To mix up these fruit-infused sparkling cocktails:
1. Dip the glass rim into the lime juice and then the sugar.
2. Drop in the fruits you want to flavor your drink with and muddle them (that's a fancy word for smashing), then add ice to your glass.
3. Fill up your glass with your favorite Henry's Hard Sparkling Water flavor.
4. Garnish with whatever fruits you'd like to snack on. :)
This is such an easy, but impressive, way to host a cocktail afternoon.
Plus, you won't have to worry about busting your diet!
As always, drink responsibly and never drink and drive!
Cheers!
