Kids Night In Subscription Box - October Unboxing

I received a Kids Night In from Night In Boxes in order to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links.

Hi, guys! We got our Kids Night In box for October and it was so stinkin' cute! The theme was, of course, Halloween and we had a blast with all of the activities inside. Keep reading for an unboxing of the KNI Spooktacular Nights box!

When you get a ship notification for your box, you can also sign in to your account to get your Spotify playlist, the two recipe activities, and your shopping list. This month had so many cute songs, starting with Monster Mash, which was my favorite as a kid. Memories!

This month there were 2 recipes for treats that would be perfect for Halloween night. First up, The Great Pumpkin Cheese Ball. So cute!

The 2nd recipe is Spooky Chocolate Covered Oreos. You can download the recipes in advance, but they also come printed in the activity magazine that comes with the box. You can also download the shopping list before the box comes so you will be ready to make everything when it arrives.

Now for the unboxing!

First up, the activity magazine/guide.

This will tell you all about the recipes and how to use all of the supplies in the box.

This month's book was Ten Timid Ghosts by Jennifer O'Connell.

It's a super-cute story and the activity guide also has some pre- and post-reading questions for your little one.

The rest of the box was jam-packed with craft supplies!

The first activity we pulled out was a foam haunted house that your child can build.

How stinkin' cute is that for a Halloween decoration?! My daughter loved it and couldn't wait to put it up in her room.

Another fun activity was making a Spooky Monster Hand Popcorn Snack!

The activity came with a clear monster hand bag, a microwave popcorn bag, and an ear of popping corn! I've never popped a whole ear of corn, but it was very cool!

When it was finished, some of the popcorn was still attached to the cob! She had fun filling up her monster hand and it made a great snack while she did some of the other activities.

The box came with some art supplies: markers and a box of chalk pastels for a step-by-step guided art project to remake the art on the box.

It also came with supplies for a ghost dancing game and a spider obstacle course! It was more than we could do all in one night so this box became a Weekend In Box for us!

If you didn't see it, you can check out last month's box here. My daughter looks forward to getting these boxes in the mail and we have a great time every month with them. It's a fantastic way to carve out time that's centered just on her and I couldn't recommend them more. You can check out Night In Boxes for yourself here. Until next month!
