Hi, guys! My FabFitFun Spring 2020 box just came!!! Sorry for so many unboxing posts in a row, but it's just that time. (I have some other fun posts coming up soon!) I ended up adding some stuff from the Add-On sale and extra customization items to my box (and I'll tell you how that works), so I'm here with a full unboxing, to show you what I chose, and to give you some great discount codes for the box brands, too. Come unbox it with me + I've got a Discount Code so you can get a FabFitFun box for just $39.99! Let's get unboxing!

To recap, FabFitFun is a seasonal subscription box filled with $200+ worth of the best in beauty, wellness, home, fashion, and fitness for $49.99, and everything is full-sized, which is amazing for that price. You can see all of my past FabFitFun posts here.

My regular box ended up being worth $294.95 this season, not including the 2 extra items from the customization choices that I added on (worth $107.99) for $17. Depending on what you choose, your box value could be higher or lower than mine.

How I got extra box items: When you go in to customize your box and make your choices for that season, sometimes you can buy the other choices at a discount. The first two categories are the most expensive items, so extras from those categories are $15 per item, then $10 for the next category, then $7 for the last 2 categories.

If you added on anything in the Add-On Sale or during box customization, your seasonal box and extras will come in a big shipping box like the one above. If you didn't get extras, the pretty FFF box alone will arrive at your door.

In the Add-On sale, I grabbed a bottle of the Pixi Glow Tonic ($29).

"Our unique formula is enriched with 5% glycolic acid that gently wipes away impurities from your pores, while aloe vera soothes and hydrates your skin. Infused with red ginseng, this Skintreats essential helps to protect and energize your skin."

This is a cult classic and I've used it before and liked it. I got it for $7 in the sale!!!

I also got the Dermelect Camo Nude Peptide Infused Concealer + Treatment ($18).

"...Instantly fills ridges and conceals any visible nail damage as it treats nails with strengthening keratin peptides and nourishing Biotin. The universal coat provides complete coverage, masking any imperfections while smoothing out uneven nails..."

I started wearing acrylic nails after a very damaging manicure at a salon. I thought I would just hide the damage until my nails grew out, but the acrylics caused their own damage. It's been a vicious cycle that I want out of, so this will be perfect to help grow out and strengthen my natural nails. I like the look of the acrylics, but I miss nail polish. I scored 2 bottles for $5 each in the sale so I'll have plenty to last until they're grown out!

Now let's unbox the Spring box!

First is customization item #1. I chose the DONNI. Ribbed Sweater Coat. "Transition into spring with this relaxed cardigan that compliments all shapes and sizes." Retail Price: $99

I got the Regular Size (they also offered a Plus Size) and it is very loose, so if you're on the cusp, size down.

I am very impressed with the quality, color, and fabric. I love it AND IT HAS POCKETS!!! 'Nuff said.

Next is customization item #2. I chose one of the FFF Throwbacks, the tarte tarteist PRO glow highlight & contour palette. "Create glowing, chiseled looks with six powder and cream shades." Retail Price: $45

I just didn't need/want most of the choices because they're items I have plenty of. Tarte is one of my favorite makeup brands, so I thought I would grab this complexion palette.

It's got cool packaging but I'm not sure if these shades will work for my pale skin. I also weirdly thought that one side would be creams and the other powders, but there's only one cream contour shade (bottom-left). I'm a powder contour user, but I thought this would be my chance to try creams out, which is a little disappointing. It's totally my bad though and this is still a really nice palette!

Next is customization item #3. I chose the WEI Two-in-One Purify and Glow Mask Collection. "Use the brown sugar mask for a radiant complexion or the golden root mask to deeply cleanse the skin." Retail Price: $45

Y'all know I'm a sucker for masks, but I've gotten so many since I made my season's choices that I'm getting a little overwhelmed feeling like I need to use them all. These are cool in that they're pods that you can travel with and the set also comes with a mask brush! I love that since I usually use a makeup brush, so it's nice to have a specialized brush for masks.

I chose this first, but then got FOMO, so for $10 more, I added on the Gravity Weighted Sleep Mask. "Catch some quality zzzs! This weighted sleep mask blocks light and distributes touch across key pressure points." Retail price: $39.99.

So, I use a sleep mask but I thought this one might squish my eyelashes into weird directions while I slept (I already have this problem from my pillow). Then I thought how nice and comforting it would feel. I'm that person who needs a full blanket to sleep, even during the hottest nights. Done.

It's pretty nice! The weighted portion has unweighted sections directly over the eyes and it can be removed to wash the cover. It closes with velcro and the cover is a very soft material.

I took a nap directly after taking these photos. The weight feels very good, but it's really for back sleepers, which I am not. I woke up rolled on my side and my face was sore from where it was laying on the mask. 🤷‍♀️

Next is customization item #4. I chose the Aria Beauty Luxe Detangling Electroplated Brush"Perfect for all hair types, the extended bristles offer easy detangling and reduce stress to the hair and scalp." Retail Price: $35

I don't actually need a brush right now, but it was so pretty I just couldn't resist! It's a nice paddle brush so I'll use it when my current brush wears out.

I got FOMO again, so for $7 more, I added on the Jabonería Marianella Imperial Jade Body Oil. "Moisturize and replenish the skin with 100% pure oils and vitamins." Retail Price: $68.

I have uber-dry skin, especially during winter, so I've been looking for a good body oil. The body oils I was looking at were around $15, so getting this $68 oil for $7 was a no-brainer. I haven't tried it yet but it smells amazing!!!

Next out is customization item #5, and I chose another FFF Throwback: The Eparé Dual Salt and Pepper Mill"Twist and shake your way to a perfectly seasoned dish with this refillable ceramic salt and pepper grinder." Retail Price: $21.95

I remember this one and I didn't get it. I had been wanting a dual sea salt/pepper grinder but I thought I could get a much better deal on it. Turns out I couldn't find one anywhere and I really regretted not getting this one.

It's much bigger than I thought it would be, which is fantastic, and I filled it right away. It works beautifully and I love it!

Next out is one of the FFF Picks, of which there are usually 3 per box and you never know what you're going to get.

I got the Chic & Tonic Silicone Straws. "This eco-friendly set comes with four straws, brush cleaner, and portable carrying case so you can clip them to your keys and be ready to sip delicious spirits on-the-go." Retail price: $15.

I was hoping I would get these because we like to use reusable straws, but they tend to disappear around here, so getting a new set is useful. It also comes with a straw cleaner and a carrying case.

I also got the This Works Deep Sleep Body Cocoon"Our unique Superblend of Shea Butter, Crambe, Camelia, and Sativa oils will help to nourish and support the skin’s barrier while our original Deep Sleep fragrance of Lavender, Chamomile and Vetivert will help send you to a restful slumber." Retail price: $31.

This was not my top choice, but it wasn't my bottom choice, either. I have a ton of body products to work my way through from a Bath & Body Works sale, so I might keep this on my nightstand to use as a hand cream before bed.

Lastly, I got the Winky Lux Rainbow Tinted Lip Balm. "A tinted and pH-hybrid balm that leaves behind a just-been-kissed flush of color. The red and orange stripes are tinted, while the blue stripe is pH-activated, for a sheer rosy red finish that’s all your own. Fresh and fruity, it’s pineapple scented to boot." Retail price: $18.

Again, I've got a ton of lip balms from all of the boxes I get, but I think this might make its way into my purse for summer. Or my daughter might steal it from me. We'll have to see how it goes! 😆

That's it! That was the whole FabFitFun Spring 2020 box! Overall, I was pleased with the choices we were offered this season and the FFF Throwbacks just added more choices into the mix.

The price of the box ($49.99 monthly or $199.99 yearly + free shipping) is way less than the value of the items that you receive (will always be $200+), which is something you should look for in getting a subscription box. It's always curated nicely for the season and I've adored every single one so far.

Get your first box for $39.99 ($10 off) by clicking here and using the code SPRINGLOVE!

THE ULTIMATE DISCOUNT: If you want to get the annual subscription, here's a tip to save the most money and get the most stuff. Use my code to get a single box for $40, but don't sign up for annual yet. Once you are a seasonal member, they will eventually (within a couple of weeks, maybe?) send you a discount code to switch to annual via email and get $20 off of the price of the annual membership. That way you get to use both discounts and save more $$$!
