Allure Beauty Box December 2022 Unboxing + Discount Codes & a Free $65 Gift!

Monday, December 12, 2022

I received a complimentary box from Allure in order to facilitate an unboxing. All opinions are my own. This post may contain some affiliate links.

I'm back with the Allure Beauty Box unboxing for December 2022 and it's packed! This month's box contains 7 great beauty products and 5 are full-sized! I've also got a coupon code to get your first box for $15 + a free gift worth $65 and codes to send a gift subscription at a nice discount! Let's unbox it.

About Allure Beauty Box

If you haven't seen it yet, Allure Beauty Box is a monthly beauty product subscription box that has a mix of makeup, skincare, haircare, perfume, and nail products in both full-size and deluxe sample sizes.

In the multiple years I've been subscribed, I've received products from drugstore brands, high-end brands, and luxury brands. There is always a great mix of product types and a high box value.

As you can see above, the longer you subscribe at one time, the bigger the price break you get on the boxes. If you subscribe to the Annual Plan, your boxes are just $19 each!

As an added bonus, there is also a Member Store where you can shop for Limited Edition bundles and editor favorites for up to 80% off retail.

You can see all of my past Allure unboxings here.

When you open it, there's a little magazine right on top telling you all about the products inside and every month there are exclusive discount codes included in the booklet for some of the box products and brands.

First out of the box is the Free Member Gift for December, a full-size Sunday Riley
5 Stars Retinoid + Niacinamide Eye Serum
($65)!

"A targeted and gentle anti-aging treatment for the delicate eye area, 5 Stars is a wrinkle-fighting serum powered by a 6% retinoid complex and bioactive centella asiatica to support natural collagen production. 5 Stars is also balanced with poppy seed extract and ceramides to soothe, smooth, and nurture the eye area while olive oil and shea butter rehydrate for overnight restoration."

I've tried this one and it's a very nice retinoid eye cream! Sunday Riley is a great skincare brand so this is a fab high-value item to get as a gift.

"This cream lip and cheek color comes in a stick that‘s quick and easy to use, so you can swipe, blend, and go—no mirror required. The hydrating formula builds color seamlessly and blends in easily with your fingertips, sponge, or brush. Werk is a Dusty Rose."

I actually have this exact shade and it's beautiful. It goes on smoothly and the finish is dewy. It's a nice item to throw in your purse for a quickie no makeup look on the go.

Next out is a full-size Static Nails Liquid Glass Lacquer in Coconut ($16).

"Static Nails Liquid Glass Lacquer is a breakthrough, non-toxic formula loaded with rich pigments and natural antioxidants for a healthier manicure that actually lasts up to 10+ days without chipping when paired with Static Nails Liquid Glass Primer and Top Coat. Coconut white, semi-sheer."

This is the palest pink shade I've ever seen! I first thought it was white but it has a pale pink tint to it. It's really beautiful.

Next out is a full-size By Rosie Jane ROSIE perfume oil ($45).

"The perfect scent of Rosie is blended into a light perfume oil. Rosie evokes calm and cozy nights in silk pajamas, and wrapped in cashmere. Inspried by winter, Rosie is soft and feminine. Key Notes: Rose, Nude Musk, Vanilla."

This scent is absolutely gorgeous. It's definitely a floral but much warmer and deeper than the usual rose scents. It's also soft and sheer; Not overpowering at all. I'm loving it!

Next out is a sample of Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum.

"This lightweight formula absorbs seamlessly into skin, working to effectively brighten the look of uneven skin tone and diminish visible signs of aging. Vitamin C, collagen, and sodium hyaluronate combine to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and uneven skin tone—leaving all skin types soft, smooth, and glowing."

I've heard of Mario Badescu but I don't think I've ever tried anything by them. This addresses some of my biggest concerns so I'll definitely be giving it a try.

Next out is a full-size Whish Lip Champagne Lip Balm with Bakuchiol ($24).

"Seeking smoother, softer, more luscious lips? This moisturizing balm will soothe while natural bakuchiol helps perfect the appearance of your pout. It provides the perfect amount of shine that’s never sticky and always sweet. Hello, all-day kissable lips!"

I thought the "pink champagne" might refer to color but it's the scent. Putting it on, it smells lightly sweet and champagne-y. It's a fairly thin formula and is not sticky at all. This is one I'll be enjoying this winter!

Next out is a full-size Klorane Dry Shampoo with Nettle ($20).

"Patented dry shampoo absorbs oil from hair & scalp in 25 seconds and regulates oil production for up to 48hrs. Hair is cleaner longer, with bouncy volume and texture."

This formula sounds interesting; I've never heard of using nettle for oil control. I don't have oily hair but I don't wash my hair every day because it gets stripped into feeling like straw so fast. I love dry shampoos for refreshing my hair in between washes but I'm still searching for the perfect dry shampoo. If this is it, I'll let you know!

Last out is a sample from the box sponsor: Emuaid Healing Ointment.

"Topical symptomatic relief for resistant skin conditions: Lichen Sclerosus, Dermatitis, Cellulitis, Psoriasis, Bed Sores, Hemorrhoids, Eczema, Fungal Infections, Poison Ivy, Oak & Sumac and other itchy, painful conditions. Immediately upon application, EMUAID ointment penetrates your skin and eliminates any bacteria and fungi that can cause infection and irritation in distressed skin. Our strong healing ingredients begin to calm inflammation and relieve itching, pain and discomfort immediately. Powerful natural ingredients, rare growth factor stimulators and skin-mimicking lipids work synergistically with oxygen boosters to stimulate blood flow to rapidly promote skin repair and act as a prevention measure for future flare ups."

Reading about it, it sounds like an interesting product and I'm curious as to how well it works. I've got mild psoriasis and have one stubborn little spot at the moment so I'll try this and report back!
