Kids Night In Subscription Box - December Unboxing
Sunday, January 6, 2019I received a box from Night In Boxes in order to facilitate a post; All opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links.
December's Kids Night In Box is here and it was chock-full of fun stuff for us to do together. This month's theme was Winter Wonderland and besides being educational, we got to make ornaments, snowcones, and some gorgeous winter artwork. Keep reading to see what was inside!
As always, when our box was shipped, I got an email telling us it was on its way and giving us a link to get our Spotify playlist, see our snack recipes, and get our printable grocery shopping list ahead of time.
Our playlist contained some fun Christmas songs including some that I haven't heard since I was a kid! <3
The snacks this month were Frosty's French Toast and Winter Wonderland Mix. How cute are these eats?!
It was about a farmer who dedicated most of his life to microphotography, capturing photographs of snow crystals to study.
Now for the KNI unboxing!
Inside the box, we have the monthly activity guide that walks you through each activity, including thoughtful questions to help explore each topic further, along with the printed recipes.
We got a fun handprint photo ornament craft.
A shimmery snowflake ornament craft.
A dancing snowflake activity/game that includes printed cards.
A recipe and the flavoring packet to make snow cones.
The supplies for a crazy-cool art project! These guys are so talented! It includes a piece of cardstock paper, marker, paintbrush, glue, glitter, and tissue paper squares to make a cool watercolor background for a glittery snowflake. I would have never thought to use wet tissue paper and a hairdryer to get a watercolor effect!
Emma started on the ornament immediately and I was struck by what a great keepsake it is!
You'll have a snapshot of that year for every Christmas to come.
