Hi, guys, I'm here with the Allure Beauty Box unboxing for July 2020. This month's box was filled with products from Peach & Lily, Osea, Beautaniq Beauty, Dr. Jart+, Avarelle, & Lapcos, including 2 full-size products. I'll walk you through it + I've got discount codes for some of the brands included & FULL SPOILERS for August's box. Let's unbox it!

If you're new to these unboxings, Allure Beauty Box is a monthly beauty product subscription box that has a mix of makeup, skincare, haircare, and (sometimes) perfume and nail products. You get 5+ product picks from the editors with at least 2 full-size products a month with a value of $70+. It costs $15 a month and the shipping is free. You can see all of my past Allure unboxings here.

Allure Beauty Box - July 2020

First out of the box is a full-size Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum ($39).

"Go makeup and filter-free with this "super juice" serum, which delivers everything you need for picture-perfect skin. Expertly blended with potent earth-born and high-tech beautifying ingredients, you'll uncover skin that is poreless, translucent, and luminous like a pane of glass. Silky, weightless, and instantly-absorbing, Peach & Lily's Glass Skin Refining Serum helps hydrate, calm, brighten, and firm, delivering more dramatic results with continued use."

Ooh! I've been wanting to try some "glass skin" products, so I'm really excited about getting this full-size serum. I've got a ridiculous amount of skincare right now but I think I'm going to slot this one into my routine next.

Next out is a Travel-sized Osea Ocean Cleanser ($18).

"This mineral-rich Organic Seaweed gel cleanser effectively removes excess oil and surface impurities from skin while maintaining a hydrated, healthy-looking complexion. Your skin will feel the (deeply satisfying) tingle as it gets to work, removing dirt and oil but leaving skin’s natural pH balance intact. This cleanser is gentle enough for daily use, but don’t let that fool you."

This is sold as a travel-sized product, so technically this is full-sized. Seaweed is supposed to be a really great ingredient so I'm happy to stash this away for the next time I travel. I'm going stir crazy here in the house so seeing anything "travel-sized" is giving me the sadz. 😩

Next out is a full-sized Beautaniq Beauty Butter Lip & Cheek Balm in Peach Blush ($16).

"Achieve a natural, dewy flush of color with this buttery cream blusher that blends seamlessly into cheeks and doubles up as an effortless lip colour. Crafted with 90% natural plant-based oils to nourish, condition and hydrate the skin while bestowing the most gorgeous, creamy radiance to cheeks and lips."

This is a beautiful color! It reminds me of my fave Au Natural The Anywhere Creme Multistick. When you're short on time but need to look put together, a multipurpose product like this is great to add a little color to your cheeks, lids, and lips in a hurry.

Next out is a sample of Dr. Jart+ Every Sun Day Mineral Sunscreen (The full size is 1.69 oz. for $39 so this .16 oz. sample is worth approx. $3.90).

"A thorough but weightless waterproof SPF formula that is hypoallergenic, blocks UV rays, and protects sensitive skin. Besides SPF 50, this formula has zinc oxide that soothes and protects sensitive skin from UVA and UVB rays. It also includes porous powder that absorbs sebum and oil to deliver a lightweight powder finish."

This sounds like a really good, broad-spectrum sunscreen. The worst part about sunscreens is the greasy feel and this one addresses that.

Next out is a sample of Avarelle Acne Cover Patch ($8.49 for 40 patches at CVS, so this sample pack is worth approx. $1.70).

"Avarelle is infused with Tea Tree, Calendula & Hydrocolloid Dressing. Simply apply Avarelle whenever you see unwelcome acne coming up or you just want to hide that awful acne scar. No matter the issue, Avarelle will help your skin look brighter Day & Night."

This sounds like an easy one to dupe on your own as it's just tea tree and calendula on a patch but at $8.50 for 40 patches it's inexpensive enough to buy a package to keep around. I don't have acne but I've been getting a few small breakouts lately so I'll give these a try.

Last out is a Lapcos Daily Skin Charcoal Sheet Mask (a 5-pack is $14 so this mask is worth approx. $2.80).

"Minimize the appearance of enlarged pores with the Charcoal Daily Skin Mask developed by the Korean skincare experts at LAPCOS. Using only the finest ingredients and advanced beauty technology, this pore-refining face mask is formulated with Charcoal Extract to draw out impurities and tighten pores while keeping skin deeply hydrated."

Like I said above, I've gotten a few breakouts lately so it's time for a good pore cleansing and I love charcoal masks for that. I think I'll make it a night for a deep cleaning, microdermabrasion, and this charcoal mask. ❤️

So that was the full July Beauty Box from Allure. The box costs $15 per month and my box had a value of approx. $81.40!

This one had a total of 6 products and 2 were full-sized. We're still heavy on skincare this month (I think we have been since January?) but I'm not too mad about it. I was really happy to get that glass skin serum and another mask from Lapcos but I do miss getting more makeup in these boxes.

What do you think about this month's box?

SPOILERS AHEAD! Allure Beauty Box August 2020 items:

August's Box looks like yet another skincare extravaganza and it will include:

Hmmm. I've already got a bottle of the Pixi Rose Oil and I really like it. Do I need 2? Probably not. 😂 There are 2 "makeup" products: a highlighter and a primer, but I have to say I'm really excited about that Erno Laszlo bar. I love the brand and was just thinking about getting their Marble face bar. I'm excited to try this one out!

The New Member Gift right now is:

The Mega Beauty Bundle gift, free with a 1-year subscription, is still available but it changed a bit to be 17 items with a $250 value, so that means there are fewer products, but they'll have a higher value! If you didn't catch my unboxing video of the mega gift bundle, you can find that here.

I hope you enjoyed this month's unboxing! You can get the Allure Beauty Box here.
