Hey! I just got my newest fix and I thought I'd share it with you. Opening the box is always the best. It's so beautifully wrapped, like a gift. There is a letter inside from your stylist, an invoice of the pieces with prices and your whole box discount, a handy style sheet, showing your piece styled different ways with accessories, and a postage-paid return envelope to return the pieces you're not keeping.
I received 5 pieces: 2 tops, 1 skirt, & 2 dresses. No accessory this time :( There is usually a scarf or a bag. You can also opt to receive jewelry.
#1. Renee C - Gabe Striped Maxi Skirt
I liked it, despite the orange (not a fan) and considered keeping it because I love maxi skirts, but then I looked down.
Hmmm. I think I need to diversify. I actually kept this skirt from a previous Stitch Fix box and I love it, but my wardrobe is awfully stripey as it is.
#2. Renee C - Emi Marled Knit Short-sleeve Top
I had a hard time photographing this top as the pattern kept showing up as a moire. I could see how this might be cute on someone else, but I live in the South. It's hot as hell most of the time and this is like a short-sleeved, loose-weave sweater. No, thanks.
#3. Pomelo - Ariel Mixed Material Ikat Print Top
Hmm...this is a hard one. I like the see-through front and the way the sleeve material continues around the back; looks like a cardigan over a shirt? It might be cute on someone else with a tank underneath [well, not an actual one ;)] but it's just not my style.
#4. Ezra - Mitchel Paisley Print Belted Shift Dress
Helloooooo 70's. I actually love this. The funky paisley print, the keyhole neckline, the sleeves. Keeper.
#5. Caramela - Stefano Medallion Print Shift Dress
Helloooooo 60's. I kinda love this one too. I wasn't taken at first because of the pink in the print. It's kind of a neon salmon color. Weird up close, but sweeter when you step back from it. It tried the belt from the previous dress and I like it both ways. Versatile is good. Keeper.
