The Bluetooth Sport Speaker from OnHand Can Go Wherever Life Takes You

I received a Sport Speaker from OnHand in order to facilitate an honest review. All opinions are my own.

If you need a bluetooth speaker that can keep up with your rugged lifestyle, the Portable Sport Speaker from OnHand may be just what you're looking for. It's compact, rugged, and has features that will make this speaker your new best friend.

About OnHand:

"OnHand designs, produces, and distributes tech accessories for students.
As a student have you ever lost a flash drive? Forgotten it at home or in your desk? Left one in a public computer? All the sudden all of your work is missing when you need it most. In 2010 the founder of OnHand created a product with a solution to these problems… a flash drive wristband to help students keep track of their digital information.

Today, nearly 4 years later, OnHand's growing success comes as a result of students. Students who demand tech accessories that fit their increasingly mobile lifestyles. OnHand has kept one ear to the group in order to design, produce, and distribute tech accessories that match students' needs."

I was sent the Portable Sport Speaker in black for review.

The speaker comes with everything you need to get started: a USB to Micro USB cable for charging, and an Audio cable so that you can connect to a device that isn't bluetooth enabled (more about that later), and an instruction guide.

The speaker itself is built tough. It features a large speaker head for better sound quality, a clip so that you can attach this to virtually anything, and a protective cover for your power and aux jacks. It has a sticky sleeve around it that will help you grip, even with sweaty hands.

The on/off is on the bottom of the device and there is also a non-slip ring on the bottom.

The controls near the bottom are easy to use. You can play/pause, skip forward or back, control the volume, and even accept phone calls as a speakerphone!

As I mentioned before, it comes with an audio cable to pair to non-bluetooth devices. So if you have an iPod shuffle, just plug it into the headphone/charging jack and you're good to go! If you want to pair it via bluetooth, just turn the speaker on, and pair your device to it under settings.

All around, it's a great little speaker. I love the clip so you can tether it to something like a bike, or a tentpole, and the non-slip grip is great if you have a tendency to drop things. Like me.

  • Water resistant (not waterproof)
  • Speakerphone (built in mic)
  • Up to 6 hours of battery life
  • 30 ft. wireless range
  • Available in 3 colors

These would make a great stocking stuffer for the music lover, hiker, camper, or college student in your life. They can be carried anywhere, spilled on, and dropped, and keep on ticking.

OnHand is also active on social media: FacebookTwitterPinterestInstagram, & YouTube. Stop by and say "Hi!"

Which is your favorite Sport Speaker? Is there someone in your life that could use one?
