Quick & Easy School Lunch: Homemade Pizza Lunch-able
Thursday, August 13, 2015
Bringing school lunches can get boring. They want the same sandwich day in and day out, or they beg for pre-packaged store-bought lunches. You know the ones I mean. Well, you can make them at home for a fraction of the cost and add in some healthy items too.
A few simple ingredients for a pizza-themed lunch cut into pile-able pieces, and you're all set!
What I used:
- Round butter crackers
- Pepperoni slices
- Cheddar Jack slices (any cheese will do)
- A jar of pizza sauce
Everything involved is already bite-sized except the cheese. Just pile up a few slices and cut them into 4 pieces. Add a dollop of pizza sauce to a small leak-proof container and you're all set!

Buying these ingredients costs the price of a couple of those pre-packaged lunches, but will last a couple of kids for a week! Saving money is always a plus and they'll love that you packed them a fun lunch they get to assemble themselves!
