Southern Mom Loves: Weekly Wrap-Up #4

Weekly Wrap-Up #4

Sunday, March 18, 2018

This week has been a nice one. We had some lovely weather even though it's been warm and then chilly and then a little rainy. I'm hoping it makes up its mind to be spring soon.

This week I published a post with some great haircare tips and a fun DIY Boho braided leather headband. If you missed it, you can find that post here. I also started another giveaway for $50 in Paypal cash. You can enter that here.

I'm hoping to start another really awesome, high-value giveaway this coming week. I'll give you a hint: It might just give you a better night's sleep. :)

I've been taking some blogging classes this month. They're fun and I'm hoping they'll help me step up my game a little bit. I've gotten some great tips on writing and photography so far and can't wait for the next one!

I've been thinking about a blog redesign. Is there anything about the look of my blog that you really like or that you really don't like? Does it load fast or too slow? Should it be more colorful or more clean? I would be really interested to hear about it from your end.

My daughter started sewing classes again. She loves them and her instructor gave her a sewing machine of her very own! It was so super-nice of her and Emma was so excited. Mine is old and doesn't do all of the cool stitches that this one does so she's been looking forward to starting some new projects.

My son's formal was rescheduled for this week. He and his girlfriend looked amazing! I'm such a proud mama!

I've been working on some new and exciting bath bomb ideas this week and I'm hoping I'll be able to publish one of them next week. I'm waiting on some things from Amazon, so it might be the week after that. I've got an idea for a pretty one like the Rose Gold Shimmer Bath Bomb, but then some for detox and inflammation using natural ingredients.

I'd also like to do some masks like this Turmeric Mask I did years ago (please excuse the photos!) Is that something you'd like to see happen?

I've had some ideas for spring entertaining, too. In particular, a food that isn't exactly diet-friendly. :) I'm debating on whether to tone it down or go for it! I miss doing food posts but my backside doesn't. What do you guys think? Would you like to see more healthy eating recipes or those that will make your mouth water but add a few pounds?

Well, that was my week. What has yours been like?
