3 Cozy & Casual Fall Looks in Sustainable Hemp + a 15% Off Code!

I received a selection of clothing from prAna in order to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own. #prAnaHemp #prAnaFall18

Fall is in full swing here, so it's time to get cozy! I've got 3 fabulous casual outfits that I put together for you and they're all made of sustainable hemp! There are a lot of misconceptions about hemp and clothing made of hemp. Generally, people think of rough linen-like fabrics when they think of hemp, but hemp is incredibly versatile and I have lots of pieces in different weights and finishes that will keep you stylish and comfortable all through the season. Plus, I have a 15% discount code just for my readers!

I was sent a selection of clothing to style from prAna. You may think prAna just makes activewear, but they make clothing of all kinds, including outerwear and lots of sustainable choices, too. Every piece of each of the following outfits is made of hemp!

The first outfit I put together started with the Cozy Up Pant, a warm pair of charcoal joggers with the lighter-weight heather grey Cozy Up T-Shirt and the matching charcoal Cozy Up Zip Up Jacket. This is what I would wear to lounge around the house or to workout in. I paired it with a short gold heart and key necklace and a black and white bandana rolled into a headband to help keep my hair back during Yoga. It's very Rosie the Riveter and I dig it!

The pieces are much softer than I anticipated. The tee has a great rolled sleeve detail and I wear it casually tucked in at just the front and it drapes beautifully.

The jogging pants are not your mama's joggers. The thick, no-roll waistband is comfortable and won't leave you looking pinched and there are pockets in both the front and back. The ankle hem isn't a thin band of elastic that makes the bottoms balloon out (I refuse!), but a wide band that looks much more modern.

The jacket is your standard hoodie, but my-oh-my is it super-soft and luxurious-feeling inside! Slipping it on over the tee is a little bit of warm, fuzzy heaven.

The next outfit is an everyday around-town look. I paired the Shelton Top in gravel with the Beaker Pant in black. I wear it with a pair of nude flats that feature pintucking detail and an eternity scarf in a modern black and white inkstain print.

The top has lots of great details from the hood to the neck placket that can be buttoned down and worn layered or buttoned all the way up on a windy day. The sleeves can be rolled up to 3/4 length with a roll tab and there's a kangaroo pocket across the front. This material is fairly lightweight, like a linen, so that it can be worn as a shirt on warm days or layered on cold days. This one will get you right through Fall.

The pants are more like a stretchy denim legging, but with back pockets and interesting seaming that makes them look way more high-end than simple leggings. The attention to detail on these pieces is wonderful!

The last piece is the Yarrow Dress in black. It's a basic shirtdress, but in a thicker weight material for Fall.

A shirtdress is one of my favorite closet staples because they're crazy-versatile and never go out of style. It's a pretty casual piece, but can still be dressed up in a flash with jewelry and glittery flats or heels. The model on their site also wears it unbuttoned like a lightweight duster and it's pretty cute.

Shirtdresses are almost like a canvas; Paint whatever you like! It can be worn unbelted or belted, with or without a jacket or cardigan, with heels or flats, or with this tan belt and boots for the quintessential Fall look.

The detail I love most about this dress are the pockets! I tend to pop my hands in my pockets during chilly weather and get annoyed when I happen to wear a dress with no pockets. (Seriously, all dresses should have pockets, fashion industry.) This one has hip pockets on each side (that don't gape!) as well as the breast pockets.

Overall, I'm loving the pieces and have found so many ways to pair them. I feel better about wearing a more sustainable fabric like Hemp and these timeless, well-made pieces are going to last me a long time!

Besides being a more sustainable crop than that of most traditional fabrics, did you know that hemp is antimicrobial and thermal-conductive? I didn't! Check out the video below about Why Hemp Matters, then pop over to prAna, check out their hemp offerings, and use the code PHHS18 to get 15% off of your order! Enjoy, gorgeous!
