If you saw the spoilers post, I kept all of my choices to myself, but I did envision a little spa day and FFF didn't disappoint. Come unbox it with me + I've got that Discount Code so you can get a box for yourself for just $39.99! Let's get unboxing!
I forewent the Add-on sale this time around. Because of the number of subscription boxes I get, there was nothing I just had to have. Don't get me wrong, there were some amazing deals, but I'm currently still working my way through products from the last Add-on sale, so there was nothing I was really needing. If you don't order anything extra, you just get the one pretty box on your doorstep.
As always, there's a magazine inside that tells you about all of the box items, gives you tips for wearing or using them, has fun articles and how-tos, and other great stuff. This season, Venus Williams was the covergirl and she had a product of her own (a jump rope) that you could choose for your box.
You'll also find a flyer or two for a deal or discount. This season, it was a $50 Gift Code for Hello Fresh, a meal delivery service. They send you the already-prepped ingredients and you follow their recipe for a delish dinner. This code gives you $25 off of each of your 1st two orders.
***I won't be using this one, so the first person in the comments that says that they want it, I'll email a photo with the actual gift code to you. :)***
Another cool thing that they do every season is to hold a contest with an amazing prize.
This Spring, it's a trip for 2 to a Punta Cana beach resort, including airfare and a spa package! Share a photo of your Spring FFF box on social media with the required tags and hashtags and you're entered to win!
Now, let's see what's inside my FFF Spring box!
First out is the KORRES Wild Rose Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Facial ($48). If you remember, I had the choice of this, 1 of 2 pair of QUAY AUSTRALIA sunnies, or the Sunnylife Lovers Picnic Set (similar). Because of some of the other items that I saw were in the box, I chose to fully theme out my box this time for an amazing spa day!
I had no trouble choosing a product from KORRES. Although I haven't tried anything by them, I know people who swear by this brand for their skincare and I love anything rose-scented. Y'all also know by now that masks are my favorite and sleeping masks, in particular, have become a staple in my routine. It smells amazing and I can't wait to use it!
Next out of the box was something everyone received and I was intrigued. It is the Manna Kadar Champagne Charcoal Body Scrub ($24). I love charcoal for detoxifying and clearing pores, and scrubs for exfoliation, so I loved that they combined these two elements.
It is a very luxe-feeling scrub and has some jelly slip to it instead of just being gritty and oily. It does also remind me of a white-grape-y rosé kind of scent. I like it!
Next was another item that was in all boxes. A Leave-In Conditioner from OUAI ($26). I've tried quite a few products from OUAI and I've loved every one. I have not tried their leave-in conditioner yet, so I'm excited to give it a go!
Next is the 3rd item that was in every box, Dr. Brandt Skincare No More Baggage Eye De-puffing Gel ($42). This is something that, if it works, will become my new BFF.
Because I have chronic sinus problems, I sometimes get crazy bags (and a puffy face, smh) when my sinuses go haywire; It is one thing that I'm really self-conscious about. I think it makes me look at least 10 years older, which I don't need at this point in life.
I can already get into a bar without being carded. Thanks, face.
Next out was a choice item. This is the Ciaté London Extraordinary Translucent Setting Powder ($22). It was this or The2Bandits Athens Necklace or a random-color/pattern S'ip by S'well bottle. Hard choices, y'all.
I actually have been looking for a good setting powder, so thought I would give this one a try. It better be amazing because I gave up that gorgeous necklace to try it!
Next was a choice item, the Lavido Aromatic Body Lotion in Mandarin, Orange & Bergamot ($19). I chose this over the Giadzy Copper Plated Measuring Spoons (super-cute) or a Mystery Item because I'm a huge fan of anything Bergamot (helloooo, Earl Gray!) but also am a little bit of a body lotion fanatic (It's a problem, y'all). This fits perfectly into my narrative of a lovely spa session, so that was that.
Next was my 4th choice item, the Daily Concepts Daily Detox Brush ($18). I have never been into dry brushing, but hey, until recently I didn't know how awesome a Jade Roller could be, either.
The other choices were the TULA Purifying Face Cleanser and the EleVen by Venus Jump Rope. I usually go for the fitness option when I get the chance, but my theme needed some pampering items. I know that TULA is a great skincare brand, but I'm maxed out on skincare at the moment, so the dry brush won!
Also, I'd like to point out how nice this one is. It's really solid with a solid wood base and has kind of softer massaging nubbins in the brush head. The best thing about it, I think, is the hand strap. Have you ever used some kind of body exfoliator device and you couldn't get a good grip on it or it just flew out of your hand and broke a jar of bath salts? Yeah, me neither.
Last, but not least, is my absolute favorite item I think I have ever gotten in a FFF box, the Show Me Your Mumu Brie Robe ($84)!
This was a definite for me and what started my whole "make your entire box into a spa theme" idea. I knew this gorgeous floral robe was going to be mine, even though it was a hard choice against the contenders.
It was up against the Deux Lux Demi Backpack and the Unplug Meditation Aromatherapy Diffuser. Now, I have an amazing diffuser from Simply Earth, so the biggest temptation was the backpack. I had to pull my eyes away and click that choice button quickly, and I'm so glad that I did!
Besides being gorgeous, this is going to be the perfect little robe for spring. It's thin, but not cheap-thin. It's a lovely, soft fabric; Almost like a double gauze, but mixed with cotton? IDK, it's mine and that's all that counts. ;) It also has a high-low hem and comes with a belt.
My only thing is that while they showed it on different-sized ladies as a one-size fits all option, it's not going to fit ALL ladies. I think there should have been a size choice there for larger ladies to be more inclusive of all of their customers.
While I think this will fit me, I'm not 100% sure about my 40" bust. This may be more of a lounging-in-jammies robe than a bathrobe, but I'm okay with that.
The price of the box ($49.99 monthly or $199.99 yearly + free shipping) is way less than the value of the items that you receive (This one came to a total value of $283!), which is something you should definitely look for in getting a subscription box. This one is always curated nicely for the season and I've adored every single one so far.
Get your first box for just $39.99 by clicking here and using the code SPRINGLOVE in the Promo code box! As of now, the Spring box is still available, but they sell out fast.
I can't believe I forgot to put this next tip in any of my FFF posts! I added in as an edit to the last post but a lot of you may not have seen it, so I'll add it again below.
If you want to do the annual subscription, here's a tip to save the most money and get the most stuff: Use my code above to get a single box for $40, but don't sign up for an annual subscription yet. Once you are a seasonal member, they will eventually (within a couple of weeks, maybe?) send you a discount code to tempt you to switch to an annual membership via email. That way, you get to use both discount codes and save more $$$!
