Hi, guys! I'm here with an unboxing of the Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box for April! They sent it to me a little early because this one is so cool, you're going to want to grab it before it sells out. April is all about spring cleaning, and if you've wanted to go green with your cleaning supplies, this is the box for you! I've made a few DIY cleaning products in the past, but this box gave me some great new recipes to try, like this Tea Tree & Lemon Surface Cleaner. Tea Tree oil is a natural antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal, and the lemon makes this spray smell so nice! It's definitely a great addition to your everyday kitchen cleaning supplies.


Let's get to unboxing April's box! This month is all about cleaning, and as always, they send you a sheet of colorful labels for your creations.


There are always 6 recipes inside printed on cards that are the perfect size for a 3" x 5" index card box.


This month's recipes are:

• Tea Tree and Lemon Surface Cleaner
• Lemon and Nutmeg Dishwasher Detergent
• Laundry Stain Remover Roll-On
• Foaming Hand Soap
• Natural Laundry Detergent
• Natural Home Diffuser Recipe

The extras in this month's box are a bottle of organic Castile Soap, a biodegradable and nontoxic soap made from vegetable oils, and an aluminum spray bottle.


The oils included in this month's box are:

• Nutmeg, 15ml, $12.99
• Tea Tree, 15ml, $9.99
• Lemon, 15ml, $7.99
• BO Be Gone Blend (Patchouli, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, Lavender, Sweet Orange), 15ml, $11.99

Tea Tree and Lemon Surface Cleaner
Source: Simply Earth

Ingredients:

• 1/3 cup hot Distilled Water (bottled water)
• 1 teaspoon Borax
• 2 teaspoons White Vinegar
• 2 teaspoons Rubbing Alcohol
• 10 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
• 10 drops Lemon Essential Oil
• Spray Bottle

Directions:

1. Add Borax to the hot water and stir until completely dissolved.


2. Add all of the remaining ingredients and stir.


3. Pour into the spray bottle.


4. Shake well before each use. Spray onto countertops and other non-porous surfaces and wipe clean. No need to rinse!
