Hi, guys, we had a fantastic weekend! My daughter's birthday was Friday and she wanted a pizza party at the lake with her friends, so we spent all day having fun in the sun. Since we were going to have pizza, sodas, cake, and ice cream later in the day, I wanted to set up a table full of better-for-you snacks for earlier in the day. I've got some great ideas for your own beachy snack table, plus keep reading till the end to enter to win a share of $500 in Walmart gift cards!

There were going to be a lot of people to feed at the lake this weekend and junk foods were going to be the main meal, so I went uber-crazy on the better-for-you snacks, especially anything hydrating since we were going to be in the sun all day. I grabbed fruits of all kinds to make sure I had something tempting for everyone.


Chips are usually a big part of any snack table, but deep-fried snacks were a no-no. RITZ Crisp & Thins are a great solution because they are light and crispy and taste ah-mazing, plus there are 2 new flavors to drool over: Cheddar and Barbecue. Yum!

I was able to grab everything in one trip and even the birthday cake was beach-themed. 😁


We got there and the great thing about this lake is that a ton of geese and ducks love to nest here. Just look at those babies!!! 💕


I found these great surfboard-shaped platters for the table and filled them up with cherries, strawberries, blackberries, mangoes, seedless mandarins, Gala apples, seedless grapes cut into individual bunches, and sliced watermelon.


Besides iced water bottles, I also brought pineapple, mango, and pink guava juices. Everyone liked mixing them up and adding fruit to make their own individual drinks.


Pro tip: put a giant bottle of hand sanitizer on the table. With kids running around, swimming in a lake, and playing in the sand, this is a great way for everyone to be able to clean up before they eat.

I'm so glad I took a few photos of the table before it was utterly destroyed. 😂


The RITZ Crisp & Thins were a big hit. I knew my family loved them, but I wasn't sure what the other kids would think. I really didn't have to worry.



They were devoured pretty quickly and people were even choosing flavor sides. 😂
