Hi, guys! I'm here with an unboxing of the Allure Beauty Box for November. This one includes some bomb products from some big names in skincare and makeup. It includes 6 products from the brands Tarte, Peter Thomas Roth, e.l.f, Bliss, Curology, & Freeze 24-7. I'll walk you through it + I've got SPOILERS for December's box (Hint: It's going to be amazing!)

Allure Beauty Box - November 2019

This month's box is the new gift-type box with metallic lettering. I have to admit it's growing on me.

When you open it, there's a mini-magazine inside telling you all about the products in the box with tips to use them. There are also exclusive discount codes for some of the products, and I always share these just in case someone can use them!

This month's codes are:
  • Peter Thomas Roth: PTRALLURE for 10% off your purchase of the full-sized Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream (11/1/19 through 1/1/20).
  • Tarte: TARTEALLURENOV for 15% off your order, cannot be combined with other offers, excludes Shape Tape + all ST sets, Big Ego + all BE sets, and goodie grabs (11/1/19 through 1/20/20).
  • Freeze 24-7: ALLURE19 for 25% off your order (11/1/19 through 12/31/19)
  • Curology: Get an (awesome) exclusive gift when you sign up for a free trial of Curology skincare (11/1/19 through 1/1/20)
  • Bliss: BLISS20 for 20% off when you spend $25 on Bliss items (11/1/19 through 12/31/19)
  • e.l.f.: ALLUREGIFT to receive a free Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette when you spend $20, cannot be combined with other offers (11/4/19 through 1/31/20)

First out is a full-sized e.l.f Poreless Putty Primer ($8).

"This skin-perfecting poreless putty primer is infused with Squalane to help grip makeup for all-day wear and help protect skin from moisture loss. The velvety texture glides effortlessly over the skin, smoothing over imperfections for a poreless effect."

This is a cult primer and is said to be a dupe for the pricey Tatcha Silk Canvas and is regularly sold out wherever it's being sold. The best part is that it's only $8.

I actually already have this product and like it. You only use a tiny bit so it's going to last me forever! I'll probably pop this one into my Poshmark store. If you're looking for it and want a bundle deal to offset that PM shipping charge, message me. I love my readers!

Next out is a set of 5 Bliss That's Incredipeel Pads ($10).

"This spa-quality peel gradually releases glycolic acid overnight to target fine lines, discoloration, and imperfections for smoother, brighter skin by morning. Spa-strength formula - with 10% glycolic acid - inspired by thousands of Bliss Spa facial peels performed by our skin experts. Texture and tone is noticeably improved after just one use. Convenient, single-step, no-rinse peel pads."

I've been a big fan of Bliss for a long time. I used to grab their self-tanners and foot soaks and scrubs at Bath & Body Works years ago! I have a ton of peels and chemical exfoliators + I just snatched up 2 tubes of Exfolikate that will last me a while, so I'll pop these into my Poshmark store if you wanted to try them out.

Next is a .67 oz. sample of Peter Thomas Roth's Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream ($22). They actually sell this size on their site if you want to try it before you invest in the big boy.

"Drench your skin with a liquid cloud of moisture drawn from the atmosphere. This concentrated 30% Hyaluronic Acid Complex cream provides up to 72 hours of hydration—even after cleansing. Three molecular sizes of Hyaluronic Acid...help replenish skin to make it appear more supple, full and smooth. Ceramides help lock in moisture while ProHyal+ helps improve hydration for healthier-looking skin. Antioxidant-rich Elderberry helps defy the look of aging. The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is visibly reduced, leaving a silky, hydrated and more youthful-looking complexion."

Those are some big claims, but there's a reason why PTR products are a little pricey. I've loved so many of their products that I'm really looking forward to trying this one out!

Next out is a .23 oz. sample of Freeze 24-7 Anti-aging Eye Serum (.5 oz. is $115 😱, so the .23 oz. would cost approx. $53.67).

"Banish crows feet and say bye-bye to fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness with this groundbreaking eye serum. This lightweight, fast-absorbing eye serum delivers a youthful appearance around the eyes in just minutes. It firms, lifts and tones the eye area and has a cooling, toning sensation upon application."

Holy moly, this stuff is high for such a tiny amount. My undereye circles and bags are legendary, so I'm going to give this product a run for its money. I'll let you know how that goes in my IG Stories.

Next out is a full-sized Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Color Splash Lipstick in boardwalk ($21).

"Drench your lips in luscious, long-wearing pigment with this vegan lipstick with a comfortable, weightless wear that lasts for 12 hours. Intense pigment with buttery-smooth conditioners, for moisture-rich & long-wearing color. Creamy matte finish that won’t feather or bleed. Formulated with antioxidant-rich marine plant extracts to help make lips look firmer, fuller, & smoother."

Tarte is one of my all-time favorite makeup brands. Their formulas are so good and always made without Parabens, Mineral Oil, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, & Gluten.

I was so excited to see this in my box. I mean, just look at that gorgeous lipstick tube! I love mattes and I haven't tried this lipstick yet...but then I saw the color.

I mean, it's a beautiful warm brown, but I look terrible in browns. I tried to kid myself for a long time, but looking back on photos (especially from the '90s, y'all know what I'm talking about) it just doesn't go with my skin tone.

I'm heartbroken about it but I'll be popping this pretty baby in my Poshmark if you want to grab it for a discount.

Last out is a .5 oz. sample of Curology's Clean Sweep Cleanser ($19.99 per month for a 3-piece set that includes a 1.4 oz. cleanser, so I'm estimating a $2.50 value for this sample).

I would love to include more info about this cleanser, but all of the products are hidden behind a subscription wall. I'm unable to find it in any stores or see the prices per product. 🙄Hate that. I need to be able to find more info about your products easily before I shell out my hard-earned money.

They do offer a 3-piece set of the cleanser, a custom serum based on your skin needs, and a moisturizer, all for free if you cover the $4.95 shipping cost. It doesn't say specifically, but I'm assuming these are all full-sized products.

It's a good deal if you know you're going to like Curology, but unless you got ahold of a sample somewhere, you're going to have to trust the reviews, which are mostly glowing.

If anyone wants me to order this set and review it, let me know in the comments. I'm curious, but also willing to take one for the team. 😂

Okay, guys, that was the full November Beauty Box from Allure. This was a pretty sweet box (even if I didn't get a shade of that Tarte lipstick I could wear 😭). It costs $15 per month and this box had a jaw-dropping value of $117.17. What do you think about this month's box?

Spoilers: Next month's box is going to be incredible!

SPOILERS AHEAD! Allure Beauty Box December 2019 items

It's early, but we know for sure that next month's box will contain:

Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit ($40)

The rest of the spoilers aren't out yet, but there's a tantalizing clue:

The December Allure Beauty Box will include 3 full-size items in a surprise collaboration! My guess is a collab with ABH since the Moonchild Glow Kit is a full-sized product.

The only Anastasia Beverly Hills product I've ever tried was a brow gel and it was good, but I've never tried one of their palette products because they're pretty pricey. They get raved about regularly and I have to say I'm curious. My fingers are crossed for an eye palette!

Even though the Glow Kit shades are not all my favorites, I'm excited to see what all the fuss is about. Will the powder formula be creamy and blendable? Will it blind my enemies? We'll see....

I'll add additional products once I find out!

UPDATE: I knew it!!! Hahahahahahaa! The next month's box will also include Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Bohemian (cedar brown) or Trust Issues (dusty aubergine) ($20)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick - Bohemian
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick - Trust Issues

I can't wait! Get the Allure Beauty Box here.
