Hey, guys! I'm here with the unboxing of my Boxycharm for February 2021. I'll tell you a little about Boxycharm, all of the products that could be in the #XoxoBoxy box, what I got in mine, plus I've got SPOILERS for the March box and a coupon code so you can get some free stuff, too!

About Boxycharm

If you haven't heard of Boxycharm, they send out 5 full-size beauty items ranging from makeup and skincare to beauty tools and color cosmetics, and each box (is supposed to have) a minimum value of $125. Sometimes the value is much, much more.

It costs $25 a month and has free shipping in the contiguous US. You can also subscribe for 3 months, 6 months, or a year and get a bigger discount for a longer subscription, so you could pay for a year upfront ($275) and end up getting it for $22.92 per box.

You can see all of my previous BoxyCharm unboxings here.

February Box Products

First, let's take a look at every product that could be in the February boxes. I wanted to show you this so that you can see what everyone could possibly get. Some are repeats from past boxes but you'll never receive the same product twice.

You take some pretty in-depth quizzes when you start and that should influence what comes in your boxes. FYI, if you're a member they've changed the quizzes a bit and there's a new Hair Quiz, so make sure to go in and re-take them!

It's been kind of hit or miss for me over the last year+. Sometimes they hit it out of the park with the perfect picks for me and sometimes...well, they don't. This month has a total of 25 items to mix and match for your box.

So, let's unbox February!

Boxycharm February 2021 Unboxing

The box includes a card on top telling you about the items in your box and their values, and the February box theme is XOXO.

First out is the Choice item. I chose the Wander Beauty Getaway Eye and Face Palette ($36).

"Create the perfect golden hour glow with this full face-and-eye palette! Getaway features six pigmented shadows, a blush, and a highlighter.

HYALURONIC ACID - Reduces the appearance of wrinkles by plumping and smoothing the eyelid.
MANGO SEED BUTTER from India - Mango is packed with vitamins A, E, C, several B vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, calcium, and potassium. Mango Seed Butter is moisturizing, soothing, and has anti-aging properties."

While I'm a fan of Wander Beauty's eyeshadow formulas, I just wasn't hyped about the choices for this month. I really wanted to try the Brow Bar Kit, but the choices offered didn't extend to many combinations of haircolor/skintone. The Nostalgia palette just wasn't my speed, and I already have the Wander highlighter and blush from this palette. I like them, but now I have multiples.

Putting that aside, I like having an eye and face palette in one and it would be a good one to take on a vacation (please let that happen soon! 🥴) I have their Wandress eye palette; It's gorgeous and their shimmer formulas are spectacular! I really love the good-for-your-skin ingredients, too. I'm still coveting their Rush palette and the shadows in this one are neutral and versatile enough that they would look good on just about anyone. Would recommend!

"So Rich revitalizes and hydrates your cuticles and hands. The Vitamin E extract paired with safflower seed oil nourishes your nails and locks in moisture. Its gentle rubber-grip dropper allows for perfect dosage and application every time.

Limited Edition! A fresh rose petal scent with a combination of red heart and iridescent floating glitter to help spread the love."

I'm almost out of my regular cuticle oil so I was happy to see this in my box. I missed the chance to get their Horchata oil in another box and after hearing the rave reviews of it, have had FOMO ever since. This oil is so cute, with floating hearts and glitter, and smells wonderful! Love that in a cuticle oil.

"This unique jelly-texture mask makes skin feel better than the day before by tapping into the yuzu fruit, which contains three times more vitamin C than any other citrus. It works overnight to soothe skin, support better barrier function, and improve dryness so skin feels hydrated, supple, and smoother."

I love a sleep mask. Slapping it on my face before bed to see results in the morning is a routine I can get behind. This one also looks so pretty and smells good. It has chunks of what looks like peel in it so we'll see how that goes. Happy to get this one!

"This hydrating fine mist envelopes skin in moisture and helps set and refresh your makeup look. The lightweight formula leaves the complexion with a glowing, long-lasting freshness throughout the day. Enriched with anti-aging hero ingredient Purslane and hydration magnet, Hyaluronic Acid, this gentle mist helps your skin retain moisture and is ideal for all skin types or for anyone who wants to achieve the ultimate dewy glow."

While I like The Beauty Crop and the formula sounds great, I'm not so hyped about the gold glitter with so much snow on the ground. I keep thinking all of these pretty, shimmery formulas will be great for the summer, but realistically, I haven't seen much sun in the past year+ and don't see this summer being much better. *sigh* It's not you, it's me. Seriously.

Next out is the Frank Body Caffeinated Scalp Scrub ($18.95).

"For the babe who wants healthy hair but hasn’t considered the skin it grows from: start with my Scalp Scrub. Made with natural ingredients like coffee and rosemary, this exfoliating scalp scrub removes product build up & detoxifies your scalp. For healthier, shinier hair that stays cleaner for longer, too. I think of scalp exfoliation as skincare as hair care. So you can think about dropping it, flipping it and working it all over the place once we’re done."

Maybe getting so many subscription boxes has me jaded. When their Coffee Body Scrub came in a FabFitFun box, it had mixed reviews. A lot of people loved it but it seems just as many people hated it. It looked like a bag of dry ground coffee and people were complaining in the forums about the mess it made.

This scalp scrub includes ground coffee as well, and while it may be great for your scalp, I just don't want to be picking it out of my hair the next day. I love a scalp scrub, but this one is a "meh" for me.

Okay, so this one had some amazing products and some I'm on the fence about. I love getting Boxycharm boxes because when they're good, they're really good. I just wish they weren't so hit or miss.

The value of the box I received was $116.94, which is actually less than the promised $125+ value. What's going on here Boxycharm???

This isn't a sponsored review post so I don't have a customized discount code for you but I do have the most recent BoxyCharm coupon codes!
