Allure Beauty Box June 2022 Unboxing + a Coupon Code!
Wednesday, June 22, 2022I received a complimentary box from Allure in order to facilitate an unboxing. All opinions are my own. This post may contain some affiliate links.
In the 2 years I had previously subscribed, I received products from drugstore brands, high-end brands, and luxury brands. There's always a great mix of products and a high value.
You can see all of my past Allure unboxings here.
When you open it, there's a little magazine right on top telling you all about the products inside and every month there are exclusive discount codes included in the booklet for some of the box products and brands.
First out of the box is a full-size CosRX Propolis Light Ampoule (1.01oz., $28).
"Heal your stressed skin, reduce redness, and give your skin a healthy radiant glow. The ampoule is infused with 83.3% of Black Bee Propolis Extract for long-lasting hydration and radiance. The innovative non-sticky texture feels light and refreshing despite being rich with nourishing ingredients. The ampoule contains merely 83.25% black bee propolis extract, a natural anti-inflammatory ingredient. Formulated with only 11 EWG All Green ingredients including propolis, making it a great choice even for those with sensitive skin. The ampoule has been hypoallergenic tested to be safe to use on sensitive skin."
I've never tried a product with bee propolis so I'm excited to see what it does for my skin. The reviews I've seen were overwhelmingly positive over different skin types and most said it left their skin feeling "dewy".

Next out of the box is a full-size Symbiosis London Ultra-Rich Regenerating Night Treatment (1.69oz., $127).
"This is an ultra-rich overnight cream that aims to renew, repair and rejuvenate your skin. Symbiosis Ultra-Rich Regenerating Night Treatment is a highly effective treatment that harnesses the powers of Hyaluronic and Lactic Acids and Shea Butter, working to intensely hydrate and repair damaged skin while also minimising fine lines and wrinkles.
Hyaluronic Acid penetrates deep into the skin, working to hydrate and instantly help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. Rich in antioxidants, high in vitamins A and E, Shea Butter works as an emollient to keep your skin young and supple. It also aims to help tighten skin and lessen the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Lactic Acid aims to lighten pigmentation and nourish skin."
Ooh, nice! I love getting anything that will help with dry skin and hyperpigmentation and this is a very high-end cream.

Next out of the box is a full-size Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm (3.17 oz., $38).
"As the first step of your double cleanse, massage this luxurious, sorbet-soft oil cleanser into the skin to melt away oil-based impurities such as sunscreen, makeup and excess sebum while nourishing the skin with antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamin E. Our oil cleanser combines a blend of lightweight grape seed, olive and seaberry oils. Hints of rosemary, persimmon and grapefruit make this a sensorial, aromatic experience designed to delight your senses and leave your skin soft and clean."
I have been using cleansing oils for years as they tend to not dry out skin while dissolving makeup, dirt, and sebum easily. Cleansing balms are the next, much less messy, evolutionary step and they're fabulous! Can't wait to give this one a try.

Next out of the box is a full-size Ciate London Everyday Vacay Eye & Cheek Palette ($30).
"Create the ultimate sun-kissed look with Ciaté London's multifunctional Everyday Vacay, eye, and face palette. Build effortless, multidimensional radiance using a blend of bronzing, blusher, and highlighter powder, each finely enriched with coconut fragrance. Complete the look using eight, complimenting, richly-pigmented eyeshadows. An everyday vacay look is at your fingertips!"
What a great little palette! There are some very pretty eye and cheek shades and it's compact enough to travel with to save some space in your cosmetics bag. There are 2 matte bronzer shades, a highlighter, and a shimmery blush that can also double as eye colors. Very nice!

Next out of the box is one of the free gift items for this month (I usually get sent one of the two gifts each month to show you), an exclusive, full-size Laruce Three Piece Editor Bundle Brush Set ($30).
"Give your makeup a professional edge with the velvety soft bristles in this three-piece brush set:
• The Best of Beauty Award-winning short shadow brush will be your new go-to for applying pigment
• The flat concealer brush is perfect for seamlessly covering dark circles and blemishes
• The angled shading brush blends makeup beautifully to give your look a smooth finish"
I have a lot of Laruce brushes and they're fabulous! The bristles blend well and the heads are always precisely cut. I love both the spiked handle design and the soft and grippy material that makes them easy to hold onto. Super-happy to add these three to my collection.

Next out of the box is a deluxe sample of La Roche-Posay Lipikar Balm AP+.
"This body cream moisturizer for dry skin to extra dry skin features a unique prebiotic action on the skin microbiome. It is clinically shown to reduce dry, rough skin and provide daily relief & provides long-lasting, 48-hour hydration. Rich, comforting balm texture with a non-greasy and non-sticky finish. Accepted by the National Eczema Association. Suitable for babies as young as two weeks. From the #1 Body Care brand in European Pharmacies. Suitable for body, face & hands."
I've actually got a large bottle of this in my bathroom right now because it's fabulous for extra dry skin. I use it in the winter when my skin is super-dry, especially my hands. It has absolutely no fragrance and has a thin, spreadable, balm-like texture. It's also very affordable. Nice box pick!

Next out of the box is a sample of Sephora Smooth + Blur Primer.
"A silky makeup primer that gives a soft-focused, blurred effect to reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles. This lightweight formula diffuses imperfections and smooths your skin texture with a soft-powder finish. It is perfect as a smooth base to extend makeup wear and is formulated for all skin types."
Sounds like a great primer.

Last out of the box is a full-size Floss Lip Advocate Sheer Lip Tint in Your Honor ($18).
"A sheer lip tint formulated with shea butter to deliver long lasting hydration. Use it alone for a soft wash of buildable colour, or apply it over your favorite lip product for a subtle sheen. Lip Advocate is vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without mineral oil. Available in 4 universally flattering shades to suit all skin tones. Your Honor: semi-sheer berry pink."
This is a great sheer lip product for summer. I've tried a few Floss lip products and liked them very much. This color is very subtle and pretty sheered out.
