My Game Day Beauty Routine + Game Day Nails Tutorial Video! {#GameDayTraditions}

When the big Game Day rolls around every year, I look forward to creating a delicious spread for our guests, but I also look forward to partaking in some of the more girly activities that have become a tradition of sorts for me.
In preparation for the big day, I pamper myself a bit. Nothing big, but I find it helps with the hustle and bustle of hosting. A relaxed mom is a happy mom, and a set of cute nails never hurts.
#1...RELAX. If you know you're going to be super-busy and have a ton to do, make a big effort to relax. Take a long, hot bath, or get a massage (Make it a Treat Yo Self Day or hint to your partner all the things you're doing to make Game Day amazing and that a massage would be welcome!)
#2...Take Care of the Basics. Do what makes you feel your best. Clean, conditioned hair? Check. Smooth legs? Check. White teeth and fresh breath? Double check.
#3...Glam It Up. Yes, I totally do a night out makeup look on Game Day. Since I don't wear makeup everyday, putting it on is a bit of a special ritual, and since this is a party, I feel that mile-long lashes are a must. Your Game Day tradition should make YOU feel good. Bright makeup? Soft makeup? No makeup? Totally up to you.
#4...Get Your Nails Done (or do them yourself!) One of my favorite things to do is to get a mani/pedi, but even if I can't get out, I find the time to do it myself (usually after bedtime.) If this little ritual happens before a holiday or fun event, you can bet that I'll have a set of cute nails to match the occasion, and this year I made a video tutorial for you!
