With the holidays nearing, you may still be looking for the perfect gift for a child. If they're as crafty as mine, a toy that allows them to be creative will be their favorite of the bunch. You may have heard about Beados. You may have even seen Beados on your child's Wish List. Well, we tried out a few sets and I'll show you what we found.

My daughter LOVES craft sets and any toys that allow her to make things (I'm guessing she got that from me!), so I knew she would have fun with Beados. When she handed over her Wish List this year, I wasn't surprised to see them on it, so when we got the opportunity to play with a few of the sets, my daughter was ecstatic!


We were sent the B-Sweet Scoop N' Mix set, the Unicorn Garden Theme Pack, and the Animal Nursery Theme Pack from Moose Toys. They are the makers of some of the cutest and hottest holiday toys out there that inspire imaginations and creative play. If you haven't heard of Beados yet, they are a way for kids to create their own unique characters and designs as easy as 1-2-3! Kids simply choose their template, add the beads and spray them with water. No heat, no glue, no mess!


Once dry, the beads are fused together and kids can place their designs in the enclosed display stands to create a themed world of their own.


The first set we tried was the Beados Scoop ‘n’ Mix playset. Kids create their favorite sweet designs like a shopkeeper, a customer, and lots of candies, then pop them on the displays for a fun Candy Shop playset.


It comes with everything you need to make and play including "candy" bins to hold your beads.


Start by scooping beads into your pen...


And popping them down onto your template.


When your design is complete, spray with water and allow to dry completely.


The Animal Nursery Theme Pack comes with 500 beads + templates to help your child create mama and baby animals. So cute!
