Home Decor Spotlight: The Alassis Collection from Chesapeake Bay Candle

Something about the spring blooms and warmer weather gets my creative juices flowing and this spring I've been focusing on my home. There are a ton of projects I've been wanting to tackle and now is the perfect time. I was sent the Alassis Collection of luxury candles from Chesapeake Bay Candle and they are truly gorgeous in sight and scent. Alassis is an exquisite collection of home fragrances inspired by the sophisticated early Mediterranean civilizations, cultures, and gardens. During her travels, Mei fell in love with the Mediterranean region with its vast quantity of sumptuous botanical fragrances and its rich history as the cradle of fragrance of early civilizations.
Since ancient times, the power of scent has been thought of as mysterious, mystical, and sacred. Scents were used at rituals, for the power of healing, relaxation, and for seduction. As Mei studied the history of fragrance, she dreamt up a new home fragrance concept, Alassis, as an homage to the role fragrance has played in the lives of people for thousands of years.
This is the Cobalt Waters & Driftwood Deluxe 3 Wick Candle. It comes in a gorgeous hand-blown cobalt art glass that has such amazing detail.
I love the way the glass glows softly, but I love the intricately layered scent even more.
It is a soy blend candle designed and poured right here in the USA. The scent is as layered as a fine perfume.
And it smells like a calm summer by the sea.
The burn time on this big 3 wick candle is 65 hours, so you'll be able to enjoy this scent in your home for a long time.
I'm a big believer in reuse, so I'm going to enjoy these beautiful art glass jars once the candle is gone too.
I also received two 2-wick boxed candles, and I have to say these are perfect for giving! How pretty!
The Alassis Neroli & Bergamot 2-Wick Candle comes gift-boxed an an orange-amber art glass. I was excited about this one because I'm a huge fan of Bergamot scents and this didn't disappoint.
The Verbena & Cedar 2-Wick Candle quickly became my favorite.
It comes in a dove grey art glass with a lovely scent.
It is a soy blend candle designed and poured right here in the USA. The scent is as layered as a fine perfume.
- Top: sheer coconut notes, crisp ozonic notes
- Middle: seamint accord, blue lavender, hedione
- Bottom: driftwood, clear musk, coconut wood

- Bottom: Indian jasmine, marine musk

- Middle: violet leaves, orange flower, rose
- Bottom: cedarwood, sandalwood, musk
These 2-wick candles have a burn time of around 40 hours, so there is a lot of scent to love. These art glass jars would be gorgeous on a bathroom countertop or in any space that needs a soft touch.
I highly recommend these luxurious candles! Not only are they gorgeous, but gorgeously scented.
