I received a box from Simply Earth in order to facilitate an honest review; All opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links.

Hey, guys! I'm here with an unboxing of the Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box for May. May's box is all about pets and includes some great recipes to treat your furry friends, ward off pests, and get the smells out. The oils included in this box will come in handy all summer long, too. Keep reading to see what's inside and get a DIY Pet Odor Eliminator Spray Recipe. I also have a code that will get you a Big Bonus Box and a $40 gift card to Simply Earth!

If you haven't seen one of my Simply Earth unboxings yet, the Essential Oil Recipe Box is a monthly curated box of 4 essential oils with containers and ingredients to make 6 essential oil recipes. They always have a fun theme and April's was Spring Cleaning. :) If you'd like to see some of their past boxes, you can find all of my Simply Earth unboxings here.

As always, the box comes with a sheet of sticky-backed labels to label your essential oil creations and 6 essential oil recipe cards.

This month's recipes are:

  • Paw Balm
  • Anti-Anxiety Diffuser Blend
  • Tick and Mosquito Collar
  • Itchy Skin Roll-On
  • Pet Odor Eliminator Spray
  • Fur and Skin Conditioner

This box also comes with a small, plastic squeeze bottle, an aluminum spray bottle, and 2 balm tubes.

It also comes with a little bandana for your pet! You use this with the Tick and Mosquito Collar recipe to help keep your pet pest-free.

The oils in this month's box are:

The oils alone in this month's box are worth over $50! I know I'll use these a lot and probably be out of the Citronella by the end of the summer!

Source: Simply Earth

Ingredients:
  • 10 drops Ginger Essential Oil
  • 20 drops Peace and Quiet Essential Oil Blend
  • 2 oz. distilled (bottled) water
  • 2 oz. spray bottle

1. Add the Ginger and Peace and Quiet Essential Oils to the spray bottle.

2. Fill the remainder with distilled water. Cap and shake well.

Then cut out the handy-dandy label for your bottle and you're done!

To use: shake the bottle, then spray to refresh a room, pet bed, or other surfaces that tend to get stinky. Cats may not like the Peace and Quiet Blend, so use caution when trying this recipe near them or replace it with Juniper Berry or Citronella Essential Oil.

Now for the fun part: I get to treat you! You can get this monthly Essential Oil Recipe Box for just $39 and use my code SOUTHERNMOMGIFTFREE here: http://bit.ly/SimplyEarthEOBox to also get the Big Bonus Box + a free $40 gift card to Simply Earth for some extra oils or ingredients to play with!

If you're wondering what to spend that gift card on, might I recommend one of their 36-Bottle Wooden Storage Boxes? My collection is definitely growing and I'm working on filling up my 2nd box!

It comes with a sheet of these Bottle Cap Stickers so that no matter what oils you put in it, you won't have to rifle through all of the bottles looking for the right oil. Genius!
