Hi, guys, I'm back with the Allure Beauty Box unboxing for August. This one includes some exciting products from a few brands that I love and a few brands that are new to me. There are some products included in this one that I've been dying to try, so I'm excited! It includes 7 products from Benefit, Erno Laszlo, Primera, Nuria, Cargo, Laritzy, and Makeup Eraser. I'll walk you through it + I've got SPOILERS for September's box. Let's unbox it!
Allure Beauty Box - August 2019
When you open it, there's a mini-magazine inside telling you all about the products included with tips to use them. There are also exclusive discount codes for some of the products, and I always share these just in case someone can use them! This month's codes are:
- ernolaszlo.com: ALLURE20 for 20% off your entire order (8/1/19 through 10/1/19)
- nuriabeauty.com: ALLURE15 for 15% off your entire order (8/1/19 through 12/31/19)
- cargocosmetics.com: ABEAUTYSUMMER for a free Swimmables Eye Pencil and 15% off your order (8/1/19 through 10/15/19)
- laritzy.com: ALLURE19 for 30% off Liquid Beam (5/6/19 through 9/30/19)
- makeuperaser.com: ALLURE25 for 25% off your entire order (6/15/19 through 12/31/19)
The cosmetics bag this month is another slip-in-band style and in neon yellow. I like that they include the bags, but maybe only include one every 3 months or so or vary the style for multiple uses? The last style was cute with little screw-head snaps and included some opaque bags that could double as a little clutch, but these...don't. I'm currently swimming in cosmetics bags! 😂
First out is a Benefit They're Real Mascara mini ($13).
"They're Real! lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts & separates. The long-wearing formula won't smudge or dry out. A specially designed brush reveals lashes you never knew you had!"
I've tried the Benefit Roller Lash mascara and liked it. This is a cult favorite (and a curling mascara, which I need) so I'm sure I'll like this one, too.

Next out is a single packet of the Erno Laszlo Multi-Task Eye Serum Mask (a 6-pack is $35 so this is worth around $5.83).
"A silky, all-in-one hydrogel eye mask formulated with a powerhouse of ingredients to tackle the major signs of under-eye dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, and wrinkles."
I adore masking and love an undereye mask. I've tried a few Erno Laszlo products and these have fantastic reviews, so I'm super excited to try them!
Masking tip: Keep them in the fridge for extra de-puffing power. Also, sometimes there is plenty of serum to be able to get two uses out of them (depending on the material the mask is made of), just make sure you're using them on a perfectly clean face. To reuse them, remove and store carefully back in the original package, then seal it in a sandwich bag until next time, making sure to remove all of the air from the bag. It's the perfect way to get more use out of those super-expensive masks!

Next out is a sample of the Primera Alpine Berry Water Cream (The full-size is $40 so this sample is worth $4.00).
"This skin-softening cream absorbs quickly, offering lasting moisture and nourishment without feeling the least bit greasy. It is formulated with an Alpine Berry Complex, a potent blend of wild strawberry sprouts with natural moisturizing factors...and antioxidant-rich blackberries to deliver intense hydration and radiance while helping protect skin against environmental factors."
I've never heard of this brand, but I'm all about that skincare. This will be something fun try try out!

Next is a full-sized Nuria Defend Triple Action Eye Cream ($40). It's sold out at Nordstrom, so I think that speaks highly of the product.
"Specially formulated for delicate eye skin, this triple duty, rich eye cream removes the appearance of dark circles, reduces the look of puffiness, and improves fine lines. It nourishes skin and restores radiance."
I've got several eye creams open at the moment, but I can't wait to try this one out to see if it does what it says it does. I have pretty deep undereye circles and chronic sinusitis, which gives me bags galore, so it would have to be pretty effective to get me to repurchase. I'll let you guys know how that goes in my Instagram Stories, where I share my thoughts on some of the products I try.

Next is the Cargo Cosmetics Essential Lip Color in the shade Palm Beach ($22).
"Rich, intense color, lightweight feel, moisturizing and plumping - all in one lipstick! The smooth, creamy formula delivers high pigment payoff while keeping lips hydrated and voluminous throughout the day."
This is another brand I'm not familiar with but their lip line sounds lovely. This is a really beautiful pink coral and I think it would look great with so many skin tones.

Next out is the Laritzy Liquid Beam Multipurpose Liquid Illuminator in Topaz ($22).
"Meet Liquid Beam, a game-changing multi-purpose liquid illuminator. The intense dose of fine pearlized shimmer will have you glowing all day. Designed to be versatile, Liquid Beam can be used in endless ways. Blend it into the high points of your face as a highlighter, use it on your eyelids, as a liquid eyeliner or mix it into a matte eyeshadow to create a brand new, creaseless metallic shadow."
I saw this online somewhere (I can't remember where!) and I instantly wanted it! I had no idea it would be in this month's box, so when I pulled it out, I was stoked! At $15, this box paid for itself since this product was on my 'To Get' list.

Last out is Makeup Eraser's The Mini in black ($12).
"Remove smear-proof, waterproof makeup and mascara with The Original MakeUp Eraser. Free of chemicals, this makeup remover gets rid of all types of makeup, including stage, sports, and theatrical makeup. Each cloth will last a thousand washes, and you only need to add warm water and then remove makeup. This ultra-soft, woven polyester-blend cloth gets rid of tough makeup without leaving behind a residue—just a fresh, healthy feeling."
I've seen different makeup removing cloths floating around and have been curious to try them. I've seen what they can do via video reviews, but I don't think I would skip a face wash afterward. I'll give this one a try and let you know how it holds up!
