Hi, guys! I know many of you have resolutions this year and one of mine is to get back into yoga. It really helps with flexibility, which I could use a little more of as I get older. Pulling out the old yoga mat, I noticed it needed a bit of a clean, so I came up with this easy Lavender & Lemongrass yoga mat cleaner spray that is non-toxic and will keep your mat clean and fresh-smelling!

This yoga mat cleaner is made with only 2 ingredients: witch hazel and essential oils.

I chose Lavender and Lemongrass oils because I think they work well together and help hide the tea tree scent a bit, which is not my all-time favorite. It's not bad but it does make me think of the spray I use for cleaning this kitchen, which is not really relaxing for me.

You can choose any essential oils you want for the predominant scents, but I would definitely use the tea tree for its antibacterial properties.

I'm using witch hazel that has a bit of alcohol in it (the cheaper kind, about $1.50 for a bottle) with the tea tree oil, both of which will help kill the bacteria in sweat that causes odors.

I made a little 2 oz. bottle but you can take this recipe and double or triple it for a bigger batch.
