Hey, guys! I'm here with an unboxing of BoxyCharm for October 2020 and it's so good! I'll tell you a little about BoxyCharm, all of the products that could be in your October #BoxyCandyShop box, what I got in mine, plus I've got SPOILERS for the November box and coupon codes so you can grab some free stuff, too!

About BoxyCharm

If you haven't heard of BoxyCharm, they send out 5 full-size beauty items ranging from makeup and skincare to beauty tools and color cosmetics, and each box has a minimum value of $125. Sometimes the value is much, much more.

It costs $25 a month and has free shipping in the contiguous US. You can also subscribe for 3 months, 6 months, or a year and get a bigger discount for a longer subscription, so you could pay for a year upfront ($275) and end up getting it for $22.92 per box. You can see all of my previous BoxyCharm unboxings here.

So first, let's take a look at every product that could be in the October boxes. I wanted to show you this so that you can see what everyone could possibly get. Some are repeats from past boxes but you'll never receive the same product twice.

You take some pretty in-depth quizzes when you start and that should influence what comes in your boxes. FYI, if you're a member they've changed the quizzes a bit so make sure to go in and re-take them!!!

My first 2 months (January & February) were amazing but since then they've been a little off. I didn't know if the box packing was being affected by the pandemic, so I gave them a break and I'm glad that I did. This month's box was fantastic!

There are not as many products this month as the last few months but there are some really good items here. Now, let's see what I got in my box!

BoxyCharm October 2020 Unboxing

The box includes a card on top listing the items in your box and their values, and the October box theme is (murderous?) Candy Shop.

First out is the Choice item. I chose the Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser ($40).

"This multi-tasking, cleansing exfoliant is an ideal addition to your cleansing regimen 2-3 times a week. Chemical and physical exfoliation helps clear dull, dry skin from the surface for a fresher appearance and to improve penetration of treatment ingredients that follow. Exfoliating also helps open hydration pathways, as sodium PCA optimizes skin’s ability to attract and hold moisture."

I am big into exfoliating lately (FYI, I am really enjoying the First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser from the previous box!) and I really wanted something I could keep in the shower for the days I was too tired to stand at the sink and do an exfoliating mask. This one fits the bill so I'm excited to give it a try!

Next out is the Luxie Wonderlust Brush Set ($40).

"Be on the go in style with our chic black travel case filled with five cruelty-free, synthetic, and vegan eye makeup brushes. This set is also in the same marvelous color as our popular Dreamcatcher set. These brushes are ideal as they create a perfect eye look just like their full-sized companions. Create new adventures and embark on amazing journeys all while looking flawless using our Wonderlust set."

I'm a fan of getting new brushes and Luxie brushes are usually pretty good ones. This is a pretty brush set in periwinkle with rose gold ferrules that comes in a black faux leather bag with a rose gold zipper. It's pretty stinkin' cute but I wish they had included a liner brush as IMO I think that's an essential to any eye brush set. I'll be happy to add this to my collection, though!

"Our very wearable shades invite mixing, layering, and playing. So many ways to kiss… and each shade enhances your natural lip color. How deliciously Brazilian."

I am a HUGE fan of their Bum Bum Cream so I'm really excited to give this a try. It smells absolutely delicious and all of the colors are very pretty!

Next out is a pair of Lavaa Lashes Premium Faux Mink Lashes in the style Charm ($19.99)

"The Charm lash is a Premium Faux Mink Lash that completes any style of glam while feeling weightless all day. The flexible lash-band is soft and adjusts to all eye shapes. The fluffy soft hairs are layered for a natural 3D effect."

I finally got a pair of falsies in a subscription box! (yay, lol!) I kept seeing all of these pretty false lashes go out and I've never received a pair, which is weird considering how long and how many beauty subscription boxes I'm subscribed to.

These are very long but also very natural-looking. The individual hairs are super-fine so they won't look like you have plastic spider legs glued to your eyes. I will be wearing these!

Last, but not least, is the Beauty Bakerie Breakfast In Bed Eyeshadow Palette ($38).

"When we have Breakfast in Bed it feels as though we have it all! Beauty Bakerie's Breakfast in Bed Eyeshadow Palette is a delightful morning medley of saturated mattes and shimmery shimmers. This palette is perfect for the classic office to happy hour transitional touch-up."

Look how pretty! This palette is definitely my speed with all of the gorgeous mauves and cool tones.

I have the Proof Is In The Puddin' palette from a FabFitFun box and while the colors are too warm-toned for me, the formulation of Beauty Bakerie's eyeshadows is nice and saturated and they sure do make some nice eye candy! They put together palettes that are generally gorgeous and this one may be my favorite so far. Loving it!

So, this box was excellent. I'm really going to enjoy everything that I got this month. It seems like the Boxycharm slump is over! Keep your fingers crossed.

The value of the BoxyCharm box I received was $157.99!!!
