Hi, guys! I'm back with an unboxing of the IndieStitch Box for April 2024! IndieStitch is a monthly subscription box for sewing enthusiasts that provides you with everything you need to complete a beginner-friendly clothing project, plus a few fun extras. This month we'll be making comfy Loungewear sets from a pattern that includes a nightgown, cami, bralette, shorts, and capri pants. Subscription Options
As you can see above, there are 12-month, 6-month, and 1-month plans and the cost per box goes down with the longer plans. This year we get a new option to pre-pay for the plans for an added discount!

How Does It Work?
- When you sign up for IndieStitch, you'll provide your size range for the printed pattern that comes in your box every month.
- Once subscribed, you'll receive an email around the end of the month (28th - End of Month) to choose the fabric for the next month's pattern.
- Your box ships out around the 4th of each month.
- You can choose to sew it up on your own using the pattern instructions, use the video tutorials provided in the IndieStitch Membership Hub, and/or join the Sew Along that happens in the IndieStitch Facebook group starting on the Monday around the 14th.
- Your membership will renew for the next month between the 13th - 15th.
- The next month's pattern is revealed on the Second Week of the Month on all social media channels (or here on my blog 😉.)

April 2024 Pattern
The pattern we're making this month is the Luna Loungewear from Love Notions!
The Luna Loungewear set includes five pieces: a cami, knee-length nighty, bralette, capris, and shorts. The bralette can be worn on its own or paired with the cami and nighty as a shelf bra. The capris and shorts feature an elasticated waistband with optional drawstring, faux fly, and side-seam pockets. The capris and shorts can be made from woven or knit fabrics while the cami and nighty are meant for knits.

April 2024 Fabric Choices
This month we have 7 lightweight and breathable fabrics to choose from!

- Light Blue Floral - 96% Polyester, 4% Spandex - 170 gsm
- Royal Blue - 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex - 170 gsm
- Cheetah Print - 92% Polyester, 8% Spandex - 190 gsm
- Black Cotton Spandex - 96% Cotton, 4% Spandex - 200 gsm
- Blush Bamboo Spandex - 95% Bamboo, 5% Spandex - 200 gsm

IndieStitch April 2024 Unboxing
The IndieStitch Box comes with a card on top that includes all of the pertinent information for the month including a code that you can use to download a digital version of the pattern and instructions. It gives you the current month's Sew Along dates and a QR code that takes you to the sewing resources for the month. The flip side details the items in your box.
This pink is very pretty and is so darn soft and drapey! I can't wait to make some comfy loungewear that will be nice and cool this summer.
We live in a century home in Tennessee, and the thing they don't tell you when buying an old home is that they're incredibly drafty, no matter what you do. That means the hot and muggy southern summers will always find their way indoors to some degree. Having comfortable, breathable sleepwear is a must so I am stoked to make some in this pretty fabric!!
Next out are the notions to help us make our pattern this month. We have a spool of matching Gütermann thread, two machine needles for our knit fabric, and two lengths of elastic: a 1.5" waistband elastic and a 3/4" plush-back lingerie elastic with a scalloped edge! I've never used lingerie elastic so this will be a learning experience for me.
Next out is our printed pattern, the Luna Loungewear from Love Notions. This month there is a separate Full Bust print that you can opt to get if you or someone you sew for has a full bust measurement 4 or more inches greater than your high bust measurement. They're printed on thick copy shop paper so the pattern will last for years to come.
Next out is our first extra, a Wooden Needle Holder. This should be great for on-the-go hand-sewing or embroidery projects. It's very sturdy and well-made with a brass screw cap.
Next is our 2nd extra, a bag of Glitter Sewing Clips. These will come in handy for regular sewing, but especially for fabrics that shouldn't be punctured.
That was the IndieStitch April 2024 box. I really love getting these boxes every month with a cool new clothing project and handy sewing notions, straight to my door. It's always a fun surprise to see what the extras are and they're always good. I can't wait to sew up this loungewear!!!
I absolutely love that they include everything you might need to just get down to sewing, including the correct fabric type, thread, and needles for your machine. We also get a cool, indie pattern. This box is a treasure for home sewists!

This may seem a bit basic pattern-wise but we got an email from IndieStitch explaining that for the next 3 months, we'll be focused on flawlessly fitting the basics.

I'm hoping we'll see tutorials to build our fitting skills! I'm always trying to up my sewing game but if you're already at level: expert, you can always switch out May's pattern for a previous pattern.
