As you probably know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. It's a time to increase awareness of the disease, raise funds for research and treatment, and support those whose lives have been affected by breast cancer. The symbol for Breast Cancer Awareness is a simple pink turned ribbon, and it's easy to make them to wear as barrettes, earrings, or headbands for yourself or to give lapel pins to friends, family, and co-workers to help spread the word and show support.
