Years ago I had a dish like the above photo at a restaurant and fell in love! I could taste mayo, and sweetness, and some kind of chilis, but I couldn't figure out how to duplicate it. I searched the internet and found a million ratios of the same 3 or so ingredients, so this is mine. You can batter and fry, or bake the protein of your choice (we've had this sauce on shrimp and chicken), or you can buy pre-made battered shrimp or chicken for a quick weeknight meal. This sauce takes less than 5 minutes to whip up and it is amazing!

Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
  • Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce to taste
  • Battered, fried, or baked shrimp, chicken, or beef
Bang Bang Sauce Recipe ingredients

  1. Combine Mayo & Chili sauce in a bowl and whisk together. 
  2. Add in the Sriracha a dash at a time and taste. 
  3. When ready to use, add sauce to a large bowl, add in your meat or seafood and toss to coat evenly. Serve as a Main dish or over a salad.
