Start a New Tradition With a Family Game Night! #PlayLikeHasbro

I received games from Hasbro in order to facilitate an honest review. All opinions are my own.

We've been having Family Game Nights ever since my son was old enough to learn to play board games. I couldn't wait to teach him how to play all of the classic games I used to play when I was his age. We continued the tradition with my daughter, and it's a night we all look forward to every week.

Some of the best, and most classic games, come from Hasbro. Remember these?!

I was sent the classic Operation and Jenga games and we had a blast playing together.

My daughter loves playing board games, but she was especially taken with Jenga. I think it's the edge-of-your-seat anticipation that comes near the end of the game when the tower is wobbling and every turn might be your last.

We've had the Simpson's Operation game for years, but this one really surprised and shocked us. Literally. This reboot of the classic Operation has new game pieces, like emoticons and cellphones, and vibrates suddenly when the sides are touched.

Imagine concentrating intently with your face about 3 inches from the board when the whole thing beeps, vibrates hard, and scares the bejezus out of you. Yes, I jumped and screamed, lol.

Walking down the game aisle, choosing new games, and remembering all of the good times I had playing them with my brothers is almost as fun as playing them, and I hope my kids have the same fond memories when they play these games with their own kids.

You can find all of Hasbro's games on the Hasbro website, or at any major retailer near you!

Do you do Family Game Night? What was your favorite game as a child? What's your favorite game now? I love to read your comments!
