This post was sponsored by Nature Made as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

I am always looking for ways to live healthier and every step counts. It's the little choices that lead to balanced, healthy living and I love making choices that also allow you to one-up your beauty benefits because It's always great when your efforts can do more for your body. For example, drinking water isn't just good for hydration and kidney health, it's also amazing for your skin. Read on for 5 easy ways to one-up your health for beautiful results and then enter to win healthy prizes, including a spa vacation!

#1. Drink More Water

You've heard it time and time again, but it's worth repeating. Water is essential for good health. Drinking enough water is important not only for maintaining healthy body function, but it can do wonders for your skin. When you're well-hydrated, your skin will look amazing. Don't believe me? Try it. You'll be amazed at the difference.

The most common recommendation is eight 8-ounce glasses, which equals about 2 liters, or half a gallon. Most people hear "8 glasses" and picture 8 tall glasses of water, which seems like an impossible task, but 8 oz. = 1 cup, and you can fit about 2 cups into a tall glass, so picture 4 tall glasses a day and that is much more accurate and do-able.

#2. Add Weights to Your Workout

If you're working out to slim down, try adding weights into your routine. Adding muscle can help to tone and firm your body in a way that cardio workouts can't. That doesn't mean you have to start bench pressing 200 pounds. Start with small dumbells, kettlebells, or strap-on ankle and wrist weights. It can really make a difference in the way you look.

Remember, weight is just a number, so don't pay attention to the scale. You could end up weighing exactly the same, but looking amazing. That number doesn't matter; How do you feel? Good? Great!

#3. Get More Sleep

Sleep is important for your body when it comes to brain function, digestion, and much more, but it's also important for your complexion. If you hate those dark circles under your eyes, get more sleep. When you get enough sleep, you're also less likely to be stressed. Try going to bed just an hour earlier each night for a week. You'll feel (and look) so much better that it just might become a habit you'll be happy to keep.

#4. Supplement Your Nutrition

I'm a big believer in taking a daily multivitamin because I've seen and felt the difference it makes in my body. I one-up that with supplements designed to give me additional benefits and Nature Made® is my partner in making every day just a little healthier.

Lately, I've noticed that my nails are super-brittle, so I started taking Nature Made® Hair Skin & Nails Gummies. They combine key nutrients to help support healthy hair, skin, and nails, like biotin, vitamin C, copper, zinc and beta carotene. You can get them in soft gels, VitaMelts, or adult gummies. Guess which one I chose. ;) Just two gummies a day can give you beautiful benefits.

You can get Nature Made® vitamins and supplements just about anywhere! I grabbed these at my local Walgreen's store. They're the #1 Pharmacist Recommended brand so you know they use only quality ingredients and pursue product innovations for your every healthy goal. Check out their website to find out more.

#5. Eat Dark, Leafy Greens to Fight Inflammation

Kale may seem like a trendy food that everyone is adding to this and that, but kale is a great addition to your diet to help fight inflammation. Inflammation can affect your body inside and out, and adding foods to your diet with anti-inflammatory benefits can give you a glowing complexion.

Kale is great in salads but also works beautifully in soups. If you want a healthy snack, try kale chips. If you absolutely hate the flavor of kale, hide it in a smoothie loaded with fruit.
