Hi, guys! I'm so happy!!!! My FabFitFun Summer 2019 box came and I am thrilled with everything that was inside. If you saw the Summer spoilers post, I kept all of my choices to myself, so I'm here with a full unboxing, to show you what I chose, and to show you my Add-On Sale haul, too. Come unbox it with me + I've got that Discount Code so you can get a box for yourself for just $39.99! Let's get unboxing!

To recap, FabFitFun is a seasonal subscription box filled with $200+ worth of the best in beauty, wellness, home, fashion, and fitness, and everything is full-sized, which is amazing for that price. My box ended up being worth a whopping $446.95 this season because of one crazy-high-value choice they included!

When you purchase items from the Add-On sale (which was amazing this season!) your FFF box comes inside of a larger box, so let's see what I nabbed!

The Add-On sale can be crazy so you want to shop asap. You add items to your cart and whatever is still there when the sale closes will ship with your next FFF box. There was a bit of a snaffu this season that they're working to fix in which the counts were wrong on a few products, so whoever had the items in their cart first, got them.

I had a bit of heartbreak when I didn't get 2 R+Co hair products that I added early on, removed, then had FOMO about and stalked them until someone else removed them from their cart, then grabbed them again. That meant that I was last in, so I didn't end up getting them when FFF saw the count discrepancy. They were super-apologetic and are upgrading their system so it doesn't happen again. I have my fingers crossed that I can grab them in the next sale because those prices are outstanding!!!

These sheet mask sets from Rael were one of my first choices. Each sells regularly at $14.99 for 5 sheet masks, but they were $5 each in the sale. I am a masking addict, so I definitely wanted to add these into the collection.

Another item I knew would be in the sale and made sure to grab first was the Crown Brush 24 piece Pro Brush Set with Roll Case. The set is $28 but was $14 in the sale. That's an amazing price for a brush set this big! I had the Crown Brush travel set from a past FFF box and was pleased with the quality of the brushes, so I made sure to snatch up this bigger set.

There were a few surprises as well. I came upon this Joni Terrarium from Summer & Rose and I had to have it. It was $29, on sale for $14, and it will look so cute on my desk with a succulent inside.

The one R+Co product I managed to get away with was their Skyline Dry Shampoo. I'm a big dry shampoo user but have never used a powder before, so it was intriguing and getting it for $14 when it sells regularly for $36 was a boon.

R+Co has a few non-traditional dry shampoos (one of the products I lost out on was their Spiritualized liquid dry shampoo in a pump bottle), and I like that this one isn't an aerosol.

Next up was a product I was curious about, and just couldn't let go. You guys know I'm a hair oil proponent (There is a hair oil for every hair type and it will leave your hair so much healthier!) but also get some crazy frizz, so when I saw this Tacky Oil from Fatboy, I was intrigued. It's an oil-based styler, which means it's got oil for conditioning and heat protection, but also some kind of hold? I'll have to report back on this one. It's normally $32, but I think I got it for $12 or $14?

My last Add-On sale item was a set of stackable rings from Ettika. You may remember that Ettika necklace from a Box of Style box + I gave one away on the blog. I've loved my necklace and these rings were gorgeous on the model; Each is a bit different and you can stack them or wear them separately. This is their Kyocera Opal and 18kt Gold Plated Stackable Ring Set that retails for $90 but I snagged for $24. *self-high-five!*

Now we're down to the FabFitFun Summer box. This season's charity is the Global Gift Foundation x Eva Longoria Foundation's newest initiative: Girls in Action STEM Scholarship Fund. It helps to connect women with the tools and education to be the STEM leaders of tomorrow. ❤️

The box includes a magazine with information about all of the products, interviews, tips, and member's only discount codes. They also give a sneak peek at the Summer Edit box.

The back cover contains all of the info for this season's contest. Share pics of your summer box with the specified tags and hashtags and you'll be in the running to win a trip for two to Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos! Pretty cool.

I also received codes for $80 to Hello Fresh meal delivery ($20 off first 4 deliveries) and a code for $15 off your first FFF box, so if anyone wants them, I'll send the code to the first one to ask in the comments.

Now for the main attraction...

Everything comes nicely packed. If you didn't order any Add-Ons, this is the box that will arrive at your door.

First out was my choice item #1, the Spiritual Gangster Maya Kimono. "Made of rayon fabric to keep you cool, this kimono is a summer essential that can be dressed up or down. It features soft, comfortable front pockets and a belt, so you can wear it multiple ways." Retail Price: $60

This was a tough first choice because I've heard amazing things about Sol de Janeiro's Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, but I had to have this! A reminder of what that one looks like worn:

It is light and flow-y and beautiful. It will be perfect for the summer as a bathing suit cover-up or with skinny jeans and a tee.

Next out was another choice item (#2) and I grabbed it while I could because this one retails for a whopping $160! It's 111SKIN Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask (Set of 5). "All that glitters is gold – and this decadent treatment mask is no exception. It features 24-karat gold and damask rose extract to brighten, soothe, and hydrate your skin."

I almost grabbed those West Elm bowls or the tote, but I couldn't pass up trying out face masks that cost $32 each. #FirstWorldProblems, guys.

Also, they're an opaque light rose-colored jelly mask, so I get to come out of the bathroom and say "I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti" every. damn. time. Worth it.

Next out was choice #3, the Jennifer Zeuner Star Double Necklace. "Star light, star bright! There are a million (and one) ways to style a dainty, timeless necklace like this one." Retail Price: $50.

I loved the look of this dainty star necklace and needed something new to reach for, so this was a no-brainer for me. The other choices were fitness bands (already have a set) and some silicone wine glasses that are cool, but I don't think I'll get a whole lot of use out of.

Next out was another choice item (#4). Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream. "The name says it all. Combat frizz with this styling cream that smooths, conditions, and blocks humidity without weighing hair down." Retail Price: $28

It was between an eyeliner or a mystery item, so there was really no choice for me. I'm a big fan of Living Proof (you may remember my stock-up from another box sale post), so I was stoked to try this one out because frizz and I are not friends.

Next out was a harder choice (#5) because all of the choice products were innovative and intriguing! I chose the COOLA Organic SPF 30 Makeup Setting Sunscreen Spray. "A few spritzes of the matte-finish formula keeps makeup looking flawless and delivers a quick hit of hydration and sun protection anytime you need it." Retail Price: $36

A setting spray with sun protection?! Genius! I always use a setting spray when I wear makeup and I love that this one will make sure you don't forget the sunscreen (so important)! You can reapply throughout the day and also use it as a sunscreen sans makeup.

I still want to try the other 2 choices (see those here) because I love Intelligent Nutrients skincare and that healing balm sounds kind of awesome, but I know this spray will live in my bag.

Now for the products that were in everyone's boxes:

First was the Invisibobble Original Duo Pack. "The answer to all your ponytail problems! This revolutionary hair tool provides a strong grip yet leaves your hair traceless." Retails for $16.00.

I actually had these on my "to buy" list, so I'm glad I got them. The package contains 6 Invisibobbles in clear and nude (?). I don't know if this set is for blondes or what, but those nude ones will come in handy at home doing facials or maybe I can hide them inside an updo. No biggie.

Yay! Generation Clay Ultra Violet Brightening Clay Mask. "Packed with hydrating desert lime, cleansing bentonite clay, rejuvenating Davidson plum, and aloe vera, the mask will revitalize dull, tired skin for a brighter complexion." Retails for $39.00.

As I said, I'm a mask-a-holic and I love clay masks, so I'm super-happy this came, too.

Next is the Whish Exfoliating Foot Mask. "Get your feet sandal ready! Natural ingredients like willow bark extract and pumpkin seed exfoliate and polish for your softest feet ever." Retails for $32.00.

I have a hydrating facial spray from Whish and I love it, so I was excited to try this, too. I thought it might be one of those foot peel gels, which I hate because they never peel consistently and always give me raw skin spots, but this is more like a hyper-moisturizing gel. It works slowly, but after one use I could tell the difference. Also, I may really need a pedicure, so it might take a few weeks for me to get soft feet. 😂

Last was the Grace & Stella Rose Facial Spray. "Craving a midday refresher? Just a spritz of the rose-infused mist will leave you with a fresh and moisturized face." Retails for $25.95.

The Whish spray that I mentioned above is just this kind of facial spray, but this one is rose scented! I can see using this all summer-long and loving getting that scent with it. I usually use these more in the winter when the HVAC makes dry skin even drier, so we'll see how often I reach for this one. I'm still pleased as punch to get it, though.

That was the whole FabFitFun Summer 2019 box!

The price of the box ($49.99 monthly or $199.99 yearly + free shipping) is way less than the value of the items that you receive (will always be $200+, mine was $446.95 this season!), which is something you should look for in getting a subscription box. It's always curated nicely for the season and I've adored every single one so far.

Get your first box for $39.99 by clicking here and using the code SUMMERLOVIN in the Promo code box.

FOR THE ULTIMATE DISCOUNT: I figured this out when I started my subscription and just recently started putting this tip in my posts. If you want to get the annual subscription, here's a tip to save the most money and get the most stuff...

Use my code to get a single box for $40, but don't sign up for annual yet. Once you are a seasonal member, they will eventually (within a couple of weeks, maybe?) send you a discount code to switch to annual via email. That way you get to use both discount codes, save more $$$, and get more boxes!

Happy Shopping!
