Hi, guys! I'm here with an unboxing of the Allure Beauty Box for October. This one includes a few products that I was super-excited about trying for the first time and also a few surprises. It includes 7 products from Sunday Riley, Sol de Janeiro, M-61 Skincare, Kneipp, Model Co., & Bausch + Lomb. I'll walk you through it + I've got SPOILERS for November's box.

Holy moly, guys! If you haven't noticed my posting schedule is a bit off. It's because my computer is down for the count and in the shop for repairs. Ermagerd, it's been awful and hopefully, I'll get it back soon and be able to get back to normal. Until then, enjoy the unboxing while I struggle to edit the photos for my next posts without my graphics programs. 🥴

Allure Beauty Box - October 2019

Welp, it turns out that this is the new box design and wasn't a one-off for their Best of Beauty Award Winners. It's cute but smaller, so I'm wondering how they're going to fit larger items in it (like the tan mitt from this summer) or if we'll get another reboot. This is the 3rd shipping box change I've seen them do this year. Calm down.

When you open it, there's a mini-magazine inside telling you all about the products included with tips to use them. There are also exclusive discount codes for some of the products, and I always share these just in case someone can use them!

This month's codes are:
  • soldejaneiro.com: ALLURE15 for 15% off your order of $50 or more (10/1/19 through 11/30/19).
  • modelco.com: ALLURE19 for 30% off full-sized products, excluding MCoBeauty, LashXTend Lengthening Mascara, Fibre Lash Mascara, Luminosity Highlighter, and Tan Water self-tanner (10/1/19 through 12/31/19).
  • kneipp.com: ALLURE19 for 20% off your order (10/7/19 through 10/31/19)
  • gorjana.com: ↓↓↓↓↓

First out is a "purse size" .84 oz. jar of the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream from Sol de Janeiro ($10 😬).

"Our award-winning, cult favorite Brazilian Bum Bum Cream is a luxurious all-over body cream that absorbs quickly to help visibly tighten the appearance of skin. Infused with all-powerful caffeine-rich Guaraná extract and a cocktail of Cupuaçu Butter, Açaí Oil, and Coconut Oil, this fast-absorbing cream with our addictive Pistachio and Salted Caramel fragrance will bring out your most radiant skin ever."

First off, I've been hearing about this stuff everywhere. People love it, so obviously I've been curious about it. It was offered as a choice in the FabFitFun Summer box, but there was no way I was not getting that Kimono. I'm glad it came in this box because I'm finally getting the chance to try it and I have to say it was the first item I snatched up and put on.

It smells amazing! It has a warm, sweet, nutty scent and it feels so good on my dry skin. I think I'm hooked. It definitely has me craving a Pina Colada and a warm beach. 🥰

Next out was a 3-pack of PowerGlow Peel from M-61 Skincare ($30 for 10, so these are worth $9).

"This 1-minute, 1-step exfoliating peel resurfaces, clarifies and helps to firm the skin for a radiant, renewed glow. Glycolic and salicylic acid help to improve the skin’s tone, texture and clarity, reduce pore size and fine lines, while chamomile and lavender calm and soothe skin in this power-packed, at-home treatment."

I love a peel because they're a great way to get rid of dull, dry skin and get back down to a fresh, radiant layer. I haven't tried these yet (tonight, my pretties!) so I'll let you know what I think in my Instagram stories.

Next out was a familiar face: the Model Co. Metallic Eyeshadow Trio in St. Tropez ($13).

"...three on-trend foiled-e¬effect eyeshadows perfect for creating statement looks. Each shade has a velvety feel for a flawless looking application, providing insane colour payoff that can be blended together seamlessly for a customised eye look."

I received the same palette in the Mykonos shades in the February Allure box and while the shimmers are gorgeous, I've got similar shades in larger palettes, so this one will go into my Poshmark Closet if anyone's interested.

Next out is the Model Co.  Eyelites Metallic Eyeshadow in Granite ($9).

"Take your shadow game up a notch! ModelCo EYELITES is a liquid metallic eyeshadow, developed to saturate lids with an unparalleled sparkly-glow. This shadow delivers colour in a single swipe and dries almost instantly to lock in weightless shine."

I received the Eyelites in the pinky-pearl St. Barts in the May Allure box and loved it. This one is in a darkest gray with silver shimmer and although the color is gorgeous, it's just not for me, so this one will be in my Poshmark closet soon, too.

Next out is something I squealed a little bit over because I looooove Sunday Riley: a sample of their brand new ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream (approx. $10.40).

"Ceramide-enriched moisturizer replenishes the skin with lasting hydration and strengthens the skin’s natural moisture barrier against environmental stressors responsible for premature aging. Skin stays smooth, balanced and ageless-looking throughout the day."

Sunday Riley skincare is my go-to with a few of their products as a ride-or-die. Everything I've tried from them has impressed so I don't see this one being any different. I'll let you know in my stories. 😁

We're almost done, promise! Next is a packet of Kneipp Mineral Bath Salt in Dream Away ($4).

"DREAM AWAY contains valuable essential valerian oil and hops extract, known for encouraging relaxation."

This packet is enough for 1 bath and I can't wait to try it out. I love anything to help me relax, y'all.

Last out is a surprise because there are usually 6 items, but I think this was a promotional freebie. Lumify Eye Drops from Bausch + Lomb ($11.97).

"...significantly reduce redness to help eyes appear whiter, brighter, and more radiant. Unique FDA approved formulation that was developed by doctors and is clinically proven to reduce redness in 1 minute and lasts up to eight hours...Contains absolutely no bleach or dyes."

I actually heard about these from a YouTuber (not sponsored) because it was one of their daily favorites. I dropped some in my eyes and it works, y'all! They're not like regular anti-redness eye drops; My eyes were so bright! Nice.

Okay, guys, that was the full October Beauty Box from Allure. This was a pretty good box and contained a few things I'm excited about. It costs $15 per month and this box had a value of $67.37. What do you think about this month's box?

I get this one early in the month, so it will still be available if you want to get it. As always, I recommend going through Amazon because while the boxes themselves are great, Allure's customer service is said to be horrendous, and Amazon will get behind you if you have any problems.

SPOILERS AHEAD! Allure Beauty Box November 2019 items

It's early, but we know for sure that next month's box will contain:
Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream Hydrating Moisturizer (🤞)
OR
Freeze 24/7 Anti-Aging Eye Serum

I'll add additional products once I find out! Get the Allure Beauty Box here.
