Hi, guys! My FabFitFun Winter 2019 box came and I couldn't wait to open this baby up! Seriously, this was one of the best boxes ever and I ended up adding some extras (and I'll tell you how that works).

If you saw the Winter spoilers post, I kept all of my choices to myself, so I'm here with a full unboxing, to show you what I chose, and to give you some great discount codes for the box brands, too. Come unbox it with me + I've got a Discount Code so you can get a FabFitFun box for just $39.99! Let's get unboxing!

To recap, FabFitFun is a seasonal subscription box filled with $200+ worth of the best in beauty, wellness, home, fashion, and fitness for $49.99, and everything is full-sized, which is amazing for that price. You can see all of my past FabFitFun posts here.

My regular box ended up being worth $302.94 this season, not including the 2 extra items from the first customization choice that I added on (at a discount). Depending on what you choose, your box value could be higher or lower than mine.

If you added on anything to your order, your box will come in a big shipping box like the one above, along with your extra items.

Every season they choose a new charity to partner with and this season's charity is Women's Alzheimer's Movement, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to raising awareness about women’s increased risk for Alzheimer’s and to educating the public about lifestyle changes they can make to protect their brain health. ❤️

The box includes a magazine every month with information about all of the products, interviews, tips, and member's only discount codes. They also give a sneak peek at the Winter Edit sale and a hint about the Spring Box. Can you figure out the puzzle? All I can get from this is Astronaut Scales Night Mask. Space Balance Night Mask? I don't know. I can't figure this one out.

The box also contained a coupon for 9 free meals at Hello Fresh, a service that delivers fresh pre-portioned ingredients and recipes to help you make delicious meals, easier. I'm a Hello Fresh affiliate, so check them out via my link and get $90 total off of your first 4 boxes + free shipping on your first box here: http://bit.ly/hellofresh90

Now let's get unboxing!

When I went to choose the customization options for my Winter box, I just couldn't make that choice. I wanted ALL OF THEM!!! When you click on/choose an option, the others pop up with a "add this for $__" overlay. The extras for the first option were $15 each so I chose 2 more for the first choice and I'm so glad I did!

Since I added on a few items, my box came inside a big shipping box. If you didn't get extras, the FFF box itself will arrive at your door.

First out was my customization item #1, the UnHide Lil’ Marshmallow. "Stay cozy all winter long with this faux fur blanket." Retail Price: $65

Holy moly, guys! I thought this would be a fluffy kind of faux fur made of cottony material that mimics fur by looping and cutting yarns, but no! It's a real faux fur (as opposed to a fake faux fur? 😆) Anyway, it is ridiculously soft and cozy!

Next out of the shipping box was my first "extra" from the first customization choice, the R+Co TELEVISION Perfect Hair Shampoo + Conditioner. "Achieve camera-ready hair with this shampoo and conditioner duo, which softens, strengthens, and adds body and shine." Retail Price: $64

I'm a big fan of R+Co styling products. I've tried the High Dive Shine Creme, Skyline Dry Shampoo, and the Dallas Thickening Spray, but I've never tried their shampoos and conditioners, so I'm so happy to be giving these a try this winter!

Now, let's get into the actual box!

Next out is my second "extra" from the first customization choice, the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream"Infused with goat milk, jojoba, and avocado, this gentle formula instantly absorbs into the skin for a healthy glow." Retail price: $65

I am a HUGE fan of Kate Somerville skincare, so how could I pass up trying this moisturizer from the Goat Milk line?! I was disappointed that is was on the smaller side and I wonder if this was a special partnership with FFF? Their products are pretty pricey, so the retail of $65 lines up with the size of the jar.

This moisturizer has no scent at all and would be fantastic for someone who has sensitive, reactive skin. It is rather thin but ridiculously hydrating. My skin felt so soft and nourished when I tried it. Another great one from KS!

Next out was what I chose for customization #2, the PJ Salvage Faux Trim Cable Slippers"Keep your feet extra cozy and supported in these comfy open back slippers." Retail price: $45

Did anyone imagine that I wouldn't choose these slippers?! There were some great choices in this one and I love Erno Laszlo, but I told myself no more extras. 😞

As soon as I pulled them out, I knew I chose right. These cable knit slippers with faux fur inside look so incredible I can't wait to slip them on!!!

Next out was what I chose for customization #3, the Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops. "Glow on! These drops are formulated to brighten the complexion and provide a radiant priming base for makeup application." Retail price: $55

I surprised myself with this one! I was all set to choose the jewelry option, but I don't wear a lot of bracelets, especially delicate ones because I work with my hands a lot. The masks were next (you guys know how much of a mask freak I am!), but I already have a stockpile of sheet masks, so I browsed a bit more.

After reading all of the info and watching the videos, I knew these glow drops would get good use. Even on bare skin, it looks lovely!

Next out was what I chose for customization #4, the Beauty Bakerie Proof is in the Puddin’ Palette. "Effortlessly create day to night looks with four matte and five shimmer shades. Plus, the palette is hard-pressed for minimal fallout." Retail price: $38

This was another hard choice and I almost caved and broke my "no more add-ons" promise to get the LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt in addition to this palette, but I stayed strong. 😭

I've heard of Beauty Bakerie but have never tried anything from them. People rave about their products, so I was excited to get my hands on this and give their formulas a try!

It's very brown, very neutral, and has a good mix of shimmers and mattes, which makes creating eyeshadow looks much easier than an all-shimmer palette. I'm really loving the warmth and richness of Warm Cocoa and Almond Jelly. ❤️

Next out was what I chose for customization #5, the Vera Mona Color Switch Solo. "Easily switch between your favorite shades while applying makeup with this instant brush cleaner – no water or soap required." Retail Price: $16.99

At first glance, I didn't really get what this was, but after reading the description, it was exactly what I needed but didn't know existed. A way to quick-clean your brushes in between eyeshadow colors!!!

I usually set out a black washcloth when I do my makeup so that I can try to rub off colors in between doing different eyeshadow colors on the same brush and it's pretty messy and doesn't always work. The other option was buying multiples of the same brush and that's ridiculous. This will get a lot of use!

Next out was the first of the products that come in everyone's boxes, the Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler. Retail price: $23

I have loved all of the Drybar products I've tried so far, so this was cool to get. I usually heat-style most in the winter (because in summer it's too unbearable hot already), so this will come in handy during the holidays especially!

Next out was the second of the products that come in everyone's boxes, the MakeUp Eraser in Original Pink. Retail price: $20

I've got the makeup eraser mini and tried it once. People rave about these, but I just didn't feel that itty bitty one was effective on a whole face of makeup and wasn't sure I was doing it right, so I gave up.

This one is huge, so I'll give it another try. Wish me luck!

Last out is a mystery product and everyone will receive one of two products (I think the alternative was a hand mask product). I got the Cuccio Somatology Yogahhh! Calm + Clean Epsom Salt Hand and Body Wash. Retail price: $39.95

I was hoping I'd get this one! I liked the Yogahhh Bath Salts that came in a previous box, so I'm excited about trying this lavender-scented Epsom salt soap.

Phew! That was a lot! That was the whole FabFitFun Winter 2019 box!

The price of the box ($49.99 monthly or $199.99 yearly + free shipping) is way less than the value of the items that you receive (will always be $200+), which is something you should look for in getting a subscription box. It's always curated nicely for the season and I've adored every single one so far.

Get your first box for $39.99 by clicking here and using the code SANTABABY in the Promo code box.

FOR THE ULTIMATE DISCOUNT: If you want to get the annual subscription, here's a tip to save the most money and get the most stuff...

Use my code to get a single box for $40, but don't sign up for annual yet. Once you are a seasonal member, they will soon send you an email to switch to annual for $179.99 ($20 off). That way you get to use both discounts, save more $$$, and get more boxes!

Happy Shopping!
