Hey, guys! I'm back with an unboxing of BoxyCharm for July 2020! There was a bit of a mixup and if you noticed I didn't do a June unboxing, that was the reason. My June box got lost in the mail! I got an email saying my replacement June box was shipping with my July box and that I should get it next week, but then this shows up at my door. It's a July box, but the tracking says that my July box hasn't arrived yet, so this is a random July box, lol. I'll let you know what comes in the mail later.

So let's unbox it! I'll tell you a little about BoxyCharm, all of the products that could be in your July box, what I got in mine, plus I've got SPOILERS for the August box and coupon codes so you can grab some free stuff, too!

About BoxyCharm

If you haven't heard of BoxyCharm, they send out 5 full-size beauty items ranging from makeup and skincare to beauty tools and haircare, and each box has a minimum value of $125. Sometimes the value is much, much more.

It costs $25 a month and has free shipping in the contiguous US. You can also subscribe for 3 months, 6 months, or a year and get a bigger discount for a longer subscription, so you could pay for a year upfront ($275) and end up getting it for $22.92 per box. You can see all of my previous BoxyCharm unboxings here.

So first, let's take a look at every product that could be in the July boxes. I wanted to show you this so that you can see what everyone could possibly get. There are a lot more products than there usually are and some of them are repeats from past boxes. You take some pretty in-depth quizzes when you start and that should influence what comes in your boxes.

Now, let's see what I got in my box!

BoxyCharm July 2020 Unboxing

The box includes a card on top listing the items in your box and their values, and July's box theme is Sunshine.

First out is the Choice item. It's the Clean Skin Club Vitamin C Brightening Booster ($49.95).

"A powerful mix of pineapple, watermelon, and green tea extracts come together to create the ultimate all-in-one serum. Our Vitamin-C Brightening Booster brightens the complexion for glowing skin, protects against UV damage, and helps reduce eventual signs of aging. Additionally, it works well with acne-prone skin due to powerful anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties in pineapple enzymes and green tea extract. Add to your moisturizer or night cream for a vitamin-c boost, or use alone as a serum."

It smells faintly herbal/floral and has a good consistency; Not too watery, not too thick.

I love products with Vitamin C as an ingredient, so I'm excited to give this serum a try.

Next out is a 12-pack of Grace & Stella Anti-Wrinkle + Energizing Eye Masks ($21).

"The skin under our eyes is delicate and sensitive, highly prone to fine lines and dark circles, and our Eye Masks are filled with nutrient-rich minerals to revitalize and rejuvenate this area, giving you a youthful, awakened glow. We work to depuff those damn under-eye bags (and keep them in the fridge for that extra cooling effect!)

We use only plant-based collagen, vitamin C, rose oil, and hyaluronic acid in formulating our fragrance-free, firming, and hydrating eye-masks."

I love masking and could always use undereye depuffing and help with dark circles so I'm so happy to have gotten these in my box! You get a whopping 12 pair in the box for $21 so the value is great, too.

Next out is an Hourglass Arch Brow Micro Sculpting Pencil ($28).

"An ultra-precise, ultra-slim brow pencil perfect for creating the thinnest hair-like strokes for naturally-defined brows."

This brow pencil has one of the thinnest tips I've ever seen! I got mine in Dark Brunette, which is not my color and it's a bummer. I'd really love to be able to use this one as it sounds like a good product and I haven't found my "holy grail" eyebrow pencil yet.

The website says they also had an Ash and a Natural Black, either of which would have worked better for me. Hair color and brow color are both things that are in your profile, so I don't know why I received this color?

Next out is a Beauty By PopSugar Make Waves Liquid Metallic Eye Shadow in You Glow Girl 03 ($28).

"If mermaids made makeup, this would be it: Beauty by POPSUGAR's Make Waves Liquid Metallic Eye Shadow is a magic water that washes liquid color over eyelids and dries fast. Use Make Waves to deposit shimmer directly on the lash line or build bolder colors on lids for a 3-D effect. Any way you wear it, it's bound to make a splash."

I was kind of wtf about this one because it was so watery but after reading more about it and seeing the demo video, I might give it a try. The colors are really pretty and it might make for a good no-makeup look.

FYI, this retails for $28 per color!!! This is ridiculous for a single eyeshadow, but the link I used above is to the PopSugar shadows on the Ulta website and they're on sale for $5.75 each right now! That's more like it.

Last out of the box is the Ace Beaute Bronzed in Paradise Palette ($30).

"The Bronzed in Paradise Bronzer Palette is an addition to the much-loved Paradise Collection. Four bronzer shades are featured to provide a natural sunkissed look. Can be layered on top of liquid, cream, or other powder complexion products."

I am dying. There was a gorgeous blush palette from them and I got the bronzer palette instead. I'm not a big bronzer user because I'm so darn pale and it ends up looking like I put dirt on my face most of the time.

This palette is beautiful and I wish I could use it, but alas.

FYI, if you're also fish-belly colored and bronzer looks terrible on you, try the Wander Beauty Trip for Two Blush and Bronzer Duo in Bellini/Costa Rei. The bronzer is very light and it looks pretty good on super pale skin.

So, this box was okay for me. It could be amazing for someone else, but personally, I feel like it was another month where they didn't really match the products that went into the box with my profile. I adored all of the skincare and will try out the liquid eyeshadow, but the brow pencil and bronzer were just not in my shades.

The value of the BoxyCharm box I received was $151.95!

This isn't a sponsored review post so I don't have a customized discount code for you but I do have the most recent BoxyCharm free gift coupon codes!

Free Gift Coupons

The current free gift promotion is a $5 BoxyCredit to use in one of the sales. They do some pretty deep discounted products, so this is like choosing your own free gift. Use the code JULYSHOP5ALL to get that credit. Available while supplies last!
