Alltrue {Formerly Causebox} Summer 2021 Welcome Box Unboxing + Get an Intro Box for $25!

I received a box from Alltrue in order to facilitate an unboxing post, but as always, all opinions are my own. This post contains some affiliate links.

Hey, guys! I've got a new (to me) box to show you. This is Alltrue, formerly Causebox, and this is the Summer 2021 Welcome Box! Alltrue is a quarterly lifestyle subscription box filled with "delightful goods made fairly and sustainably by brands doing their part to better the world." It contains beauty, fashion, home goods, and other products that can help you live a more ecoconscious life. They've also got a Summer Intro box right now for $25 (or FREE with Annual membership!) Let's unbox it!

"Alltrue is a membership uniting a community that stands for good, seeks truth, and takes action — connecting socially conscious individuals everywhere who are out to build a better world. Best known for our flagship seasonal subscription box, we’re adding new features every season to help you find your people, explore your values, and discover the brands and products that are making a difference."

Alltrue Summer 2021 selection

Alltrue is a quarterly (4 times per year) membership and the box ships for free. Every box features an ecofriendly (and beautiful) selection of items that range from beauty and fashion to home and beyond. All items included are ethically made.

There are 2 memberships: quarterly and annual. Quarterly members will pay for one box each season at $54.95 (the first Intro box is $25) while annual members who pay a year in advance end up paying $49.95 per box (and get their first Intro box for free).

Annual Members also get access to Box Customization, which means that they have access to choose their products in every choice category every season. Quarterly memberships have the opportunity to choose in up to three choice categories every season.

Both Quarterly and Annual Members get access to the seasonal Add-On Market, which is open for around a week at the start of every season and products are up to 70% off.  In addition, the members-only Essentials Shop just launched. The Essentials Shop is an always-open market featuring hundreds of replenish-able household essentials, from clean dish soap to sustainable toothpaste.

This is Alltrue's "Welcome Box" which is what you would normally get when you first sign up. It includes a product from each of the regular box categories. When that sells out, they will offer a discounted "Intro Box" with a few less products. When the new season starts (Fall season is beginning in a week or two), they will start offering the Welcome Box again.

The box includes their All Good Things magazine on top. It's an editorial magazine dedicated to living consciously and includes stories, products, and projects from around the world that inform and inspire. Every box comes with a 48 page abridged version of the magazine, and members have the option to upgrade to receive a premium coffee table 100+ page extended version of the magazine, which is packed with additional eco-conscious DIY projects and exclusive content.

I was so impressed flipping through it! There is a lot of good information on becoming more conscious of our environment and reducing our waste, but also recipes, illustrated exercises, and and DIY projects like growing mushrooms, making hand sanitizer, dyeing with flowers, and regrowing vegetables from scraps!

This magazine is definitely the most useful I've ever seen come in a subscription box. Love it and would definitely want to get the full version every season!!!

The box also comes with a seasonal print postcard! This is so cute and can be used to drop a friend a line or can be framed and used for decor.

First out of the box is the Category #1 choice and I received the Boon Supply Travel Weekender Bag in Pebble ($48).

OOO and out of town. The Boon Supply Weekender Bag is just the right size for all your essentials, in a sleek pebble color with vegan leather details. A $48 value.

Next out of the box is the Category #2 choice and I received the Reduce To-Go Bowl ($20).

This 18 oz. to-go bowl will keep hot food hot for 6 hours and cold food cold for 20, whether you’re making your office return or having a picnic in the park. Made with stainless steel, this to-go bowl vacuum seals and won’t sweat no matter what you put in it.

Product details:
• 18/8 Stainless Steel, Silicone and Polypropylene
• Holds 18 oz.
• Measures 5.5 x 4.75 x 4.25 in.

This is a smartly designed product. Have you ever tried to get the lid off of something like this, couldn't get a grip on it, and it was just stuck forever? This one has a handy grip built into the top of the lid and The outside is sloped so smaller hands can get around it. It also has a little carry handle. Smart!

Next out of the box is the Category #3 choice and I received the COSMEDIX Retinol Serum ($80).

Retinol is the queen bee of every skincare cabinet. Known for its wrinkle-reducing rejuvenation, your favorite beauty blog and just about every dermatologist around sing its praises. This plant-based retinol serum is formulated to get you results without any harsh ingredients.

Product details:
• Apply a small amount onto freshly cleansed and toned skin morning and/or night.
• Research has shown that bakuchiol has a range of anti-aging benefits for skin. It can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, help restore firmness, refine skin texture and even out skin tone. Bakuchiol helps to calm skin making it a good option for those whose skin shows signs of sensitivity.

I am definitely in the stage of life where retinol is a "must" so I'm excited to try this one out!

Next out of the box is the Category #4 choice and I received the Small Hours Traveling Cutlery Set ($25).

We’ve all been there: the drive-thru lane. We take our takeout with a side of plastic cutlery because we’re on the go and totally forget to pack our own. Here’s a simple solution: stash this stainless steel cutlery set in your glove box so you can just say no to single-use.

Product details:
• Stainless steel
• Includes one spoon, fork, and knife.
• Dimensions: Case: 6.615”L x 1.85” W x 0.675” H // Spoon: 6.50”L x 1.75” W x 0.125” H // Fork: • 6.50”L x 1.25” W x 0.125” H // Knife: 6.50”L x 0.63” W x 0.125” H

This is really well-made and another smartly designed product! Everything fits snugly inside that case and there's a silicone holder inside that will keep them from being noisy should you want to keep this in your bag. It also has a handy pull-tab to make getting the lid off easier. I love bypassing single-use products and this is going to come in handy!

Next out of the box is the Category #5 choice and I received the Way of Will Brightening Face Serum ($37.50).

When it comes to your skincare routine, Vitamin C is the brightening sunshine-in-a-serum we all could use more of. An antioxidant, Vitamin C helps protect your skin from the sun and other environmental aggressors like free radicals. It also brightens, evens out skin tone, and boosts collagen production (aka reduces wrinkles), giving you a glowing, rejuvenated, dewy look.

Product details:
• Contains vitamin A (also known as retinol) which reduces signs of aging, and can increase sun sensitivity.
• Store below 21C / 70F
• Avoid contact with eyes and open skin.
• Always skin test on a small area before use.
• Paraben free
• Pat 2-4 drops of serum onto your face after washing, while skin is still damp. Follow up with a moisturizer of your choice.

It contains lots of goodness to make this an effective all-your-skin-problems-are-now-addressed serum.

Last out of the box is the Category #6 choice and I received the Hanalei Hawaiian SPF 15 Lip Trio ($20).

Relieve dryness and restore hydration with this tropical trio of lip balms. A fully cruelty-free and vegan formula, the secret ingredient on our lips is Hawaiian Kukui Nut Oil, a moisturizing elixir packed with antioxidants, Vitamins A, C, and E, and more than a little of that spellbinding Hawaiian aloha. In tropical citrus, island mint, and unscented, this trio brings all the island vibes.

I am constantly using lip balms and masks and this cute little set is right up my alley. Loving the tropical vibes!

So, that was the Alltrue Summer 2021 Welcome Box and I am thoroughly impressed! It came with 6 items (plus the bonus magazine and postcard) and all were useful and/or cool. This was curated nicely for Summer and it made me want to pack up and go camping!

The price of the box is far less than the value of the items you receive, which is something you should look for in a subscription box. My box was worth $230.50!!!

Alltrue is currently running a Summer Intro Box promo where new members get their first box with 4 full-sized products ($150 value) for only $25! If you sign up for an Annual membership, you'll get it for free!

This is only valid until they launch the Fall box later this month! Get that deal here!
