Hi, y'all, sorry I'm so late, I'm at the tail-end of having the flu. It's been a rough week but I'm back with an unboxing for the IndieStitch Box for February 2025! This month, we'll be sewing up a snuggly soft top pattern that is so versatile you'll have a hard time choosing just one style. Subscription Options
As you can see above, there are 12-month, 6-month, and 1-month plans and the cost per box goes down with the longer plans. This year we get a new option to pre-pay for the plans for an added discount!

How Does It Work?
- When you sign up for IndieStitch, you'll provide your size range for the printed pattern that comes in your box every month. The size ranges are incredibly inclusive!
- Once subscribed, you'll receive an email at the end of the month (usually around the 28th) to choose the fabric for the next month's pattern.
- Your box ships out around the 4th of each month.
- You can choose to sew it up on your own using the pattern instructions, use the video tutorials provided in the IndieStitch Membership Hub, and/or join the Sew Along that happens in the IndieStitch Facebook group starting on the Monday around the 14th.
- If on a monthly plan, your membership will renew for the next month between the 13th - 15th.
- The next month's pattern is revealed on the Second Week of the Month on all social media channels (or here on my blog 😉.)
- If you don't like the pattern for the month (or maybe you already own it), you can switch it with a past project you didn't get or swap the pattern out for extra fabric or notions. That way, you'll always get something you'll love to sew!

The pattern we're making this month is the Day Dreamer Top from Pattern Niche!
The Day Dreamer Top is a fantastic tee with amazing options! Featuring curved or straight hem standard tee, a double ruffle peplum or single ruffle peplum, or a crop top! Also choose between short, 3/4 length, long sleeves, or tank style. The best thing is the amazing placket in crew, scoop, or v-neck options. No serger required! No special tools needed. February 2025 Fabric Choices
This month we have 6 fabric options:
- Charcoal - Thermal Brushed - 82 Polyester, 15 Rayon, 3 Spandex
- Teal - Thermal Brushed - 82 Polyester, 15 Rayon, 3 Spandex
- Green - Thermal Brushed - 82 Polyester, 15 Rayon, 3 Spandex
- Rust - Thermal Brushed - 82 Polyester, 15 Rayon, 3 Spandex
- Mustard - Cotton Spandex 10 oz - 95% Cotton, 5% Spandex
- Acorn - Rib Knit - 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex
IndieStitch February 2025 Unboxing
Our IndieStitch Box comes in a larger craft box this month. I suspect it's because our snuggly soft fabrics are a bit bulkier than usual.
The card on top states all of the information you need for the month's project, including a code to download the instructions and a digital version of the pattern for free (you will get the printed pattern in your box.)
It also gives you the current month's Sew Along dates and a QR code that takes you to the sewing hub for video tutorials. The flip side details all of the items in your box.
First out is usually the fabric but I found these cute little guys hiding under the box card!
This looks like the usual waffle knit on one side and the other is brushed and oh-so-super-soft like a fleece. You can choose either side to be your "outer" side or mix sides for more texture to your finished top. I'm loving the green and just realized this is going to be the perfect top to wear for St. Patrick's Day!
Next out are the notions to help us make our pattern this month. We have a spool of matching Gütermann thread, two ball-point needles for knits in the correct size for our fabric, a length of knit interfacing, and 10 coordinating buttons.
Next out is our printed pattern, the Day Dreamer Top from Pattern Niche. It's printed on thick copy shop paper so it's extra durable.
Next out is our 1st "extra" (the stickers weren't listed as an extra on our box card. Were they an extra extra? 😉), Sewing Clips. These little clips have become a staple for me so I'm glad to get a few more to add to my stash.
Last out is our 2nd extra, a pair of Sewing Notion-themed Socks. How stinkin' cute!!! I love getting adorable sewing swag.

That was the IndieStitch February 2025 box. Our project is perfect for this time of year and I'm looking forward to staying snuggly warm during the icy sleet and snow mix we're about to get. That green just makes me so dang happy and I'll have fun sewing it up wearing those cute socks. Everything was a hit for me this month!
SPOILERS AHEAD!
So far we know that March's pattern will be the Joni Dress by Pattern Scout!
Joni is a peasant-style blouse and dress with raglan sleeves and a square neckline. The neckline is gathered with a drawstring that ties at the center front bodice. The bodice and sleeves are gathered with shirring to add shaping. With its romantic style and comfortable fit, Joni will be your date night go-to or cottage-casual staple for day-to-day wear.
VERSION A is a blouse (hemmed approx. 4 inches (10 cm) below the natural waist)
VERSION B is a mini dress with pockets (hemmed above the knees)
