It's so much harder to gift the guys than the girls for me. I can come up with creative gift ideas that the ladies will love in a snap, but what to get the guys? The list of things they love is usually pretty short: anything tech, food, and man accessories, so why not combine it all to build a holiday gift basket that any guy would love to get?! I did just that and now I've got some great ideas to help you build a basket for your own guy.

I went over the top with a gift basket specifically designed for my husband. He's crazy for new and innovative gadgets so I started with a cool, new one and all of the things that he loves, like snacks, an accessory, and a gift card for music and apps.

Tech-Loving Guys' Holiday Gift Basket
Start with a container large enough to hold everything. I chose a metal basket in a locker motif that he could use later for closet or garden tool storage.
Fill your basket with a filler like shredded crinkle paper or tissue paper. You want to get enough height in your basket to elevate your items so your recipient can see everything inside at-a-glance. Next, let's add your basket items.
FOOD
Choose your guy's favorites. You could do:
• a meat and cheese selection
• flavored hot sauces
• pancake or waffle mix and a selection of flavored syrups
• his favorite candies
• chocolates
• his favorite chips
Anything goes as long as it doesn't have to be refrigerated. I chose pretzels, jerky, a summer sausage, and an artisanal mustard.
Accessories
• socks
• a watch
• cufflinks
• an engraved bracelet
• a ring
• a money clip
• a wallet
• a tie
Just choose whatever your guy likes to indulge in accessory-wise.
Gift Card
I like to include a gift card for a choose-your-own-adventure element. Pick a gift card to his favorite store or service and you're all done. You could get a gift card for:
• music
• apps
• video games
• a video game subscription service
• movies
• small electronics
• a restaurant
• fast food
• a cupcake bakery
• a coffeehouse
• clothing
• sports gear
• a streaming service for TV, movies, or music
Any guy would be stoked to get a basket full of his favorite things along with a new gadget to play with, even if it's a practical one. :)
