Hi, guys! I just got my FabFitFun Summer 2020 box!!! I ended up getting a few items from the Add-On sale, including clothing from FFF Style, so I'm here with a full unboxing, to show you what I got, and to give you some great discount codes for the box brands, too. I've also got a Discount Code so you can get a FabFitFun box for yourself for $10 Off! Let's get unboxing!

To recap, FabFitFun is a seasonal subscription box filled the best in beauty, wellness, home, fashion, and fitness, and everything is full-sized, which is amazing for the price. You can see all of my past FabFitFun posts here.

My regular box ended up being worth $292 this season, not including the 2 extra items from the Add-On Sale. Depending on what you choose during box customizations, your box value could be higher or lower than mine.

If you added on anything in the Add-On Sale or during box customization, your seasonal box and extras will come in a big shipping box like the one above. FFF Style items ship separately. If you didn't get extras, the pretty FFF box alone will arrive at your door.

In the Add-On sale, I grabbed the Sara Knit Romper for $14.99 (regularly $52).

I've been upping my loungewear game and this super-soft, short-sleeved romper fit the bill. It's regularly $52 (!!!) but is more Target quality so I feel like $15 was a more than fair price for it.

Word of warning: I ordered it 2 sizes larger than I regularly wear to account for shrinkage in the wash and my long torso but apparently they run very small. I don't know if all FFF Style items have this issue but I would definitely order like I was ordering from a Korean clothing brand and go at least 2 sizes up.

I also got the R+Co NEON HALO Hair Kit for $49 (regularly $110).

"Brilliantly divine hair is just five products away with this R+Co kit. The crowning gift for those seeking tress enlightenment. Packaged in a limited-edition, R+Co Mesh Pouch."

What's Included:

  • TELEVISION Perfect Hair Shampoo (8 oz)
  • TELEVISION Perfect Hair Conditioner (8 oz)
  • HIGH DIVE Moisture + Shine Crème (5 oz)
  • SAND CASTLE Dry Texture Crème (2.2 oz)
  • DEATH VALLEY Dry Shampoo (6.3 oz)
  • R+Co Mesh Pouch

I'm a big fan of R+Co hair products because they work well and smell amazing. I'm just now using the Television Shampoo and conditioner that I got in my Winter FFF box and I absolutely love it! The scent is Dark Waves and it's one of my favorites. I wish they would make a hair perfume of their scents, they're that good!

I've never tried Death Valley or Sandcastle, so I got 3 favorites in this set with 2 new products to try for a huge discount. They can be a little pricey (the shampoo alone is $64) so this was an incredible find!

Now let's unbox the Summer box!

Every season they choose a new charity to partner with and this season's charity is Special Olympics. The mission of the Special Olympics is to end the discrimination against and empower those with intellectual disabilities. ❤️

The box includes a magazine every season with information about all of the products, interviews, tips, and member's only discount codes. I always share these codes so you can use them, too!

They also give a sneak peek at the Summer Edit sale and a hint about the Fall Box. Can you figure out the puzzle?

It may be something from Botkier. Maybe a bag for Fall?

First out is customization item #1. I chose the Draper James Straw Bag with Floral Scarf. "Vacation in a bag: a woven top-handle tote, embellished with a scarf in our signature magnolia print — the perfect warm-weather accessory for beach days or spring and summer brunches." Retail Price: $75

It's very cute and much better quality than I expected. The woven straw is soft and supple, not stiff and crunchy. It has a wide base for stability and the scarf is removable (and wearable if you need to put your hair up in a pinch!)

I thought this would be a simple straw tote but it's a fully-lined bag with an inner zip pocket. Nice!

Next is customization item #2. I chose one of the FFF Throwbacks, the Isaac Mizrahi Blue and White Kimono"The soft, flowy fabric and chic stripes make it a versatile piece that can be styled to fit your needs." Retail Value: $59

It is so, so pretty but it's less of a kimono that a shawl. The sides are open and just drape over your shoulders. I'll be making a few alterations but I know I'll be styling it all summer.

Next is customization item #3. I chose the The Giving Keys Mini Key Necklace"Elevate your everyday look with small, intentional details, like our Mini Key Necklace.  Start small.  Find your inspiration. Make a big impact." Retail Value: $45

This necklace is so stinkin' cute! It's delicate and petite and I don't know if you can see it, but "believe" is written on the key. LOVE IT!!!

Next is customization item #4. I chose the Zoe Ayla Ice Roller"Reduce puffy eyes and rejuvenate tired skin. Additional Info: Minimizes puffiness and redness, promotes fluid flushing. Leave in the freezer for 4+ hours, then roll over face and neck. Can also soothe bug bites, sunburn, or sore muscles!" Retail Value: $34.99

I have a Jade roller and it's nice, but this looks like the industrial version of that. With my industrial-sized face puffing in the mornings, I'm looking forward to giving this one a go!

Next out is customization item #5, and I chose the amika Brooklyn Bombshell Blowout Spray"A lightweight, volumizing blowout spray with heat protection for massive, long-lasting volume, body, and texture." Retail Value: $25

Amika is another hair brand that I'm crazy about. I love a good blowout so I made sure to grab this blowout spray to try.

Next out is one of the FFF Picks.

I got the Cali Cosmetics Foot Cream W/ Menthol In Tarocco"This softening and healing recipe also contains menthol (antiseptic, cooling, refreshing, circulation-stimulating properties)." Retail price: $24.

I also got the Spongellé Coconut Verbena Hand Cream"Infused with Spongellé’s signature scents & patented Salsphere® ingredients, our Hand Cream will help soothe, nourish, and hydrate your hands & cuticles. This moisturizing formula is enriched with hyaluronic acid, shea butter, argan, and macadamia seed oils." Retail price: $18.

Lastly, I got the Winky Lux Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil"Uni-Brow Pencil is a cool-toned brow pencil that works for most brow shades. The firm texture allows for maximum control, creating a universally flattering look every time. Increase your application pressure for darker-toned brows, apply soft pressure for light-colored brows." Retail price: $16.

That was the whole FabFitFun Summer 2020 box. Overall, I was pleased with the choices we were offered this season and I really had to restrain myself from getting extras in just about every category!

The price of the box is way less than the value of the items that you receive, which is something you should look for in getting a subscription box. It's always curated nicely for the season and I've adored every single one so far.

Get your first box for $10 off by clicking here and using the code FAB10 at checkout!

THE ULTIMATE DISCOUNT: If you want to get the annual subscription, here's a tip to save the most money and get the most stuff. Use my code to get a single box, but don't sign up for annual yet. Once you are a seasonal member, they will eventually (within a couple of weeks, maybe?) send you a discount code to switch to annual via email and get $20 off of the price of the annual membership. That way you get to use both discounts and save more $$$!
