Take an Easy 4-Ingredient Detox Bath!

Happy New Year! Now is the time to start those healthy resolutions! If you've ever done a cleanse or detox, you know that the point is to rid your body of the impurities that have built up over the span of months or years. One thing that can help you in your journey (besides drinking a ton of water), is taking a Detox bath. You don't need to buy kits or go to a Spa; you can do them at home with 4 ingredients that you probably already have.

Detox Bath
  • 2 cups Epsom Salts (helps flush toxins and replenishes Magnesium)
  • 1 cup Baking Soda (cleansing)
  • 1 Tablespoon ground Ginger (helps sweat out toxins)
  • 20 drops Tea Tree Oil (assists in detoxification)
Before taking the Detox bath, I would make sure to hydrate all day. Add all of the ingredients to a filling tub, stirring them around until dissolved. Soak for no more than 20 minutes, then rinse off in the shower. Stand slowly and carefully; I sometimes get a little dizzy after soaking. Finish it off by drinking a large glass of water. You can repeat this weekly or as needed!
