Hey! Today's post is a fun recipe that's a blast from the past: school lunch pizza! I have fond memories of this pizza from high school in the '90s and when someone posted the recipe on Facebook (thanks, Gannie!) I decided it was a must-try. There are a few watch-outs and I made a little change from the original, but eating it brings back so many memories, and the kids loved it! Keep reading for the full recipe with instructions!

Hi, guys! Its been a while since I posted a recipe and I thought this one would be perfect for this chilly weather. It's a potato soup with a difference; It's hearty, flavorful, and positively loaded!
The potato soup base is chunky and creamy and full of flavor from garlic and chicken broth, chives, sour cream, bacon, and two kinds of cheese, then topped with everything you love about baked potatoes! You can also leave out the bacon for a meatless meal option.
It's also super-easy to make in the Instant Pot, but I'll also give directions for the Slow Cooker for those who haven't gone the pressure cooker route yet. Plus, keep reading for the chance to win a Better Than Bouillon Prize Pack and one of 9 $50 Visa Gift Cards! [CLOSED]

With cooler weather here and Fall on the horizon, I couldn't wait to make something warm and comforting with some of my favorite Fall flavors. This marinated garlic & herb pork loin is butterflied and rolled with herbed stuffing and glazed with a sweet and tart cranberry sauce. Sound complicated? It took me less than 30 minutes to prepare and it cooked in the slow cooker while I did other things. :) Back to school is back to busy time for me, so you know this recipe is going to be easy to make and taste amazing!

From the title of this post, this dinner might sound a little complicated, but it's not. I made this entire delicious spring-themed meal in less than 30 minutes and I'll tell you just how I did it. It's a great meal for the whole family on those busy weeknights, or even on the weekends when you'd rather stay out and play as long as possible. A big bonus is that you're not heating up your kitchen!

Monday, February 20, 2017March is one of my husband's favorite times of year. Is it because the weather is warming and spring is in the air? Nope. It's college basketball tournament time. He loves the games, I love the get-togethers. This year, I'm taking our entertaining up a notch with drinks and a spread that are a little more chic for a get-together that's perfect for the grown-ups. Keep reading for my Honey Apricot Almond Cheese Round recipe (the savory and sweet together is amazing!) and the fun printables I used in my own setup.

With football season in full swing, you might be planning a Big Game party, but throwing one doesn't mean you have to break the bank. I went shopping and created an absolutely delicious recipe for Black Forest Ham & Swiss Garlic Bread Sliders for a crowd and served them with a mess of seasoned fries and sodas for around $20. You can feed everyone at your Big Game party for less, you just have to know where to shop! Believe me, these hot, melty, garlicky, sweet & fluffy Hawaiian bread sliders will have your guests coming back for more without putting a huge dent in your wallet.

Back to school season is the busiest time of year for my family. Once we pick the kids up from school it's go, go, go. With homework, projects, and after school activities to tend to the last thing I want to do is spend an hour or more in the kitchen cooking dinner, so today I'm teaming up with Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork at Kroger to bring you a delicious fall dish, cooked in the slow cooker, and it only takes 5 minutes of prep time! It's Real Flavor, Real Fast!
This Slow Cooker Molasses, Garlic, & Herb Pork Loin is quick and easy and oh so tender and flavorful. The garlic and herbs infuse the pork with flavor while the molasses mixture gives it a deep, sweet, sticky crust.

Whether you need gluten-free lunch ideas for the kids, or they're just plain bored with sandwiches, serving the filling ingredients on a skewer is a fun way to get them interested in eating a healthy lunch (and asking for more!)
Any Brussels Sprouts fans here? Me neither. At first, anyway.
I grew up hating the "Tiny Cabbages", and refused to eat them. When I married my husband, he begged me to try them, which is strange because he isn't a big veggie lover, so I thought I would give them a go. We had them steamed in a butter sauce and how wrong I was! They were delicious! To me, anyway. I was still trying to find ways to get my kids to like them.
I ran across a recipe for Buccatini with Brussels Sprouts, Sausage, & Gorgonzola Cheese on Italian Food Forever, so I adapted it for the tastes of my family and it was a success! I had to change it up for two reasons: 1, Availability of ingredients in our small city and 2, No way would I get anyone to eat chopped nuts on a dish. I know, crazy right? I have to choose my battles. My daughter loves it and at least my son doesn't actively complain when he eats it, which is still a win. Husband loves it as well.
So whether you love them or hate them, you might like this dish. Try it out and tell me what you think! If you have access to Buccatini & Gorgonzola, you can go and try the original too.

Alright y'all. Another Friday, another pizza. This one has no redeeming veggies. There is no pretense at "healthy". This pizza laughs while it attaches itself firmly to your backside. Pure evil. Pure, delicious evil...
